Southern Comfort Barbecued Chicken Wings/Legs

Fabulous for a party Goes quick - usually have no leftovers
- 5-6 pounds Chicken wings and/or thighs
- (I prefer to use boneless, skinless chicken breasts and thighs)
- 4 Cups ketchup
- 1 Jar (11 oz.) Paul Newman Salsa Sauce (Medium)
- 8 Tablespoons bacon grease or 6 slices finely chopped bacon
- 1 Cup 80 or 100 Proof Southern Comfort liquor
- 2 Lemons (juice of 2 lemons)
- 2 Teaspoons salt
- 1 Teaspoon chili powder
- 2/3 Cup brown sugar
- 2 Medium onions finely chopped
Zucchini Chips (Baked)

1. Place chopped onion in large skillet 2
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 3 carrots (chopped)
- 4 stalks celery (chopped)
- 2 28 oz cans crushed tomatoes (do not drain)
- 1 16 oz can red kidney beans (rinsed and drained)
- 1 16 oz can white kidney or Canneloni beans (rinsed and darned)
- 2 32 oz boxes Beef stock
- 3 teaspoons oregano
- 2 teaspoons black pepper
- 3 teaspoons dried parsley
- 1 24 oz jar spaghetti sauce
- 1 teaspoon Tobasco sauce (optional)
- 8 oz Ditallini pasta (cooked)

Got this recipe from Laurie Ragsdale several years ago
- Pillsbury pie crust (2 per box)
- 6 eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- Salt & pepper to your taste
- Choice of veggies: (I use 1 bag of baby spinach (finely chopped) and one small onion (finely chopped))
- Baby Spinach (finely chopped)
- Zucchini (shredded)
- Broccoli (steamed)
- Mushrooms (sautéed)
- Small onion (finely chopped)
- Choice of meats: (I usually use ham or bacon)
- Bacon (cooked crisp and crumbled)
- Ham (chopped)
- Turkey (chopped)
- Sausage (sliced)
- Cheese choices - choose one: (I usually use swiss)
- 1-1/2 cups Swiss cheese (shredded)
- 1-1/2 cups white cheddar cheese (shredded)
- 1-1/2 cups gouda cheese (shredded)
- Fresh herbs for decoration (Basil, summer savory, tarragon, etc.)

For a super-fast dinner, make this salad ahead of time
- 1 ⁄2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 ⁄4 cup plain Greek-style yogurt
- 2 Tbsp. orange juice
- Zest of 1/2 an orange
- 4 cups diced cooked chicken
- 1 cup halved red grapes
- 3 ⁄4 cup diced fennel bulb
- 1 ⁄4 cup slivered almonds, toasted
- 2 Tbsp. chopped fennel fronds
- 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh tarragon
- Salt and black pepper to taste

- 4 Chicken bouillon cubes
