Brown-Sugar Barbecue Chicken Drumettes

Cook's Note Chicken drumettes are actually part of the chicken wing -- just the right size for kids to nibble on
- 2 cups ketchup
- 1 cup packed light-brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- Coarse salt and ground pepper
- 6 pounds chicken drumettes, patted dry
Ina's Chocolate Cake

Cake: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
- Chocolate Frosting:
- Butter, for greasing the pans
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for pans
- 2 cups sugar
- 3/4 cups good cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 cup buttermilk, shaken
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 extra-large eggs, at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup freshly brewed hot coffee
- Chocolate Buttercream, recipe follows
- 6 ounces good semisweet chocolate (recommended: Callebaut)
- 1/2 pound (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 extra-large egg yolk, at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
- 1 tablespoon instant coffee powder
- Chop the chocolate and place it in a heat-proof bowl set over a pan of simmering water. Stir until just melted and set aside until cooled to room temperature.
David's Chocolate Cream Cheese Bread Pudding

Butter a 13'' x 10'' baking dish
- 8 – 10 day-old croissants (about 2 cups) or a combination of raisin bread, challah, or plain bread, cubed
- 8 oz. softened cream cheese
- 2 oz. (4 Tbsp.) softened butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2/3 cup semi-sweet mini chocolate chips
- 5 large eggs
- 2-1/2 cups half-and-half
- 1 tsp. cinnamon (optional)
Emeril's Essence

Combine all ingredients thoroughly
- 2 1/2 tablespoons paprika
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme

Place all ingredients in a food processor or blender
- 4 scallions, chopped
- 1/2 cup lime juice, fresh
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped finely
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 small jalapenos, seeded and minced

1. Place all ingredients, except bay leaf, into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid
- 1 medium carrot, halved or about 1/2 cup chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
- 3 medium garlic cloves, peeled
- 2 small onions, peeled, quartered or about 3/4 cup chopped
- 2 pounds (908 g) fresh tomatoes, quartered
- 1/2 teaspoon dried crushed oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried crushed basil
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- additional seasoning, to taste

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- Prep: 25 minutes
- Bake: 1 hour 350 degrees F
- Cool: 10 minutes
- 1/2 of an 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 8-ounce carton dairy sour cream
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped crystallized ginger
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 15-ounce can pumpkin
- 1 cup cooking oil
- 1/3 cup water
Chicken Parmigiana

1.Heat broiler. Combine breadcrumbs and Parmesan in a shallow bowl
- 3/4 cup plain breadcrumbs
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 8 chicken cutlets (about 1 1/2 pounds total), or 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, halved horizontally
- Salt and freshly ground pepper
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 2 cups jarred tomato sauce or Easy Chunky Tomato Sauce
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 6 ounces mozzarella cheese, preferably fresh, cut into eight 1/4-inch-thick slices
