Sandra's Chicken Fried Steak

In a pie pan, whisk together the egg and milk
- Chicken Fried Steak:
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cornmeal
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and freshly cracked black pepper
- 4 cube steaks, about 1 to 1 1/4-pounds
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- Sawmill Gravy, recipe follows
- Sawmill Gravy:
- 12 ounces breakfast sausage, small diced (patties may be used and broken into small pieces)
- 3 tablespoons canola oil
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- Salt and freshly cracked black pepper

For the pastry, place the flour, salt, and sugar in the bowl of a food processor fitted with the steel blade
- For the pastry:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 12 tablespoons (11/2 sticks) cold unsalted butter, diced
- 1/2 cup ice water

1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees
- 3 corn tortillas
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3/4 teaspoon cumin
- 1/8 teaspoon turmeric
- 2 teaspoons finely chopped jalapeno
- 1/2 cup corn niblets (frozen or canned, drained)
- 2 (14 oz) cans, or 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups cooked, shredded skinless chicken breast
- 1 tomato, seeded and diced
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
- Fresh lime wedges, for garnish
- Grated reduced-fat Monterey Jack cheese

- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1.Combine cornflakes and parmesan
- 1/2 cup crushed cornflakes
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 lb. skinless, boneless chicken breast, cut into strips

- 1 beaten egg
- 3 tbsp. oil

- Note: Soak the almonds in water overnight before using.

Sunny's Orange Sugar Fried Donut Holes
