Bread: Applesauce Bread

1.In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 cups applesauce
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Fresh raspberries and vanilla sugar, recipe follows For the crepes: Preheat the oven to 150 degrees F
- Crepes:
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into 12 cubes
- 1 cup raspberry jam
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- Whipped cream:
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 1/2 teaspoons powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Mix together flour, baking powder, and salt in a small bowl, then transfer it to a Lock & Lock of your choice
- Fudgy Brownie Baking Directions:
- 3 cups white sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup candy-coated peanut butter pieces
- These directions are included on a "Printable Gift Tag" that you can find next to this recipe on QVC.com. Just print the tags, cut to separate, and attach the directions to each Lock & Lock container with a ribbon or bow.
- You will need:
- 3 sticks melted unsalted butter
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 6 eggs
- Directions:
- 1 . Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch x 13-inch baking pan.
- 2 . Empty the brownie mix into a large mixing bowl and stir to blend.
- 3 . Stir in the butter, vanilla, and eggs. Mix well.
- 4 . Pour batter evenly into the prepared baking pan.
- 5 . Sprinkle the candy coated peanut butter pieces on top.
- 6 . Bake for 45 — 48 minutes. Do not over bake. Cool completely before cutting.

- 1 Tbsp. dark brown sugar
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp. ground 3-color pepper, or to taste (red, green and black)
- 1 tsp. cornstarch
- 4 tsp. toasted sesame seeds

- 2 tablespoons hot bacon grease, divided
- 1 3/4 cups self-rising cornmeal
- 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda (mix with buttermilk)

Lady and Sons Chicken Pot Pie

Crust: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- 4 sheets frozen puff pastry
- 1 egg, beaten
- 4 chicken breast halves, or 2 cups leftover cooked chicken
- Seasoned salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 1/3 cup butter
- 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 quart heavy cream
- 1/4 cup chicken base
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1/2 small yellow onion, minced
- 1 cup frozen green peas, cooked
- 1 cup chopped cooked carrots
- Pinch fresh grated nutmeg, optional
- Special equipment: 4 (2-cup) individual baking dishes

- 2 tablespoons (30 g) butter
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 6 canned artichoke hearts, drained and diced
- 3 ounces (85 g) frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed "dry"
- 3/4 cup (180 ml) dry white wine
- 3/4 cup (180 ml) water
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 12 ounces (340 g) cubed Monterey Jack cheese
- 3 ounces (85 g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 ounces (113 g) crumbled feta cheese

To make the meatballs: In a large bowl, mix together all the ingredients, except the canola oil
- For the meatballs:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound ground pork
- 1 cup plain bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 eggs
- 1 chipotle pepper in adobo sauce, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons adobe sauce (from can of chipotle peppers in adobo)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- For the sauce:
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 1 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 cups ketchup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
