Seafood Lasagna

Enhanced by tender seafood, layered in cheese and kissed with a creamy white sauce, this Lasagna is a perfect addit
- 1 box lasagna sheets
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 pound shrimp
- 1 pound crab meat
- 1 pound bay scallops
- 5 cloves of garlic minced
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 3 cups milk
- Pinch of nutmeg
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 (16 ounce) container ricotta cheese
- 1 (10 ounce) package spinach (thawed and drained)
- 1 egg
- 2 cups mozzarella (grated)
- 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
Rhubarb Custard Tea Cake

Perfect springtime tea cake with tart rhubarb
- 2 sticks butter, 1/2 pound
- 3/4 cup sugar, plus 2 teaspoons
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups self raising flour
- 1 package vanilla pudding
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 stalks rhubarb, sliced lengthwise and cut to fit pan
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- CUSTARD
- 2 tablespoons custard powder, I use Bird's Custard powder
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/4 cups milk, divided
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- If you can't find custard powder, you can replace it with 2 tablespoons cornstarch, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
Italian Cream Cake

- 1/2 cup shortening
- 2 cups sugar

- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Snickerdoodle Blondies

- 2 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon Kosher salt

- 1 cup butter, at room temperature
- 2 eggs, at room temperature

Alfredo Sauce--Quick and Easy

Melt butter in a medium, non-stick saucepan over medium heat
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 cups milk
- 6 ounces grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough - no bake!

Chill the dough for an hour
- First, in a large bowl, cream together:
- 1 cup butter (2 sticks), softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 granulated sugar
- Now, add:
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup milk (I used skim)
- In a separate bowl, stir together:
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- Add the dry mixture in several batches to the wet mixture and mix well.
- Finally, use a wooden spoon or spatula to stir in:
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
Cream Cheese Frosting

Beat butter and cream cheese with a mixer on medium-high speed until fluffy, 2 to 3 minutes
- 8 ounces (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
- 12 ounces cream cheese, room temperature (i like 16 oz. or 2 pkgs)
- 1 pound (4 cups) confectioners' sugar, sifted
- 3/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Pumpkin Marshmallow Cinnamon Cake

To make the pumpkin brown butter cake, start by preheating the oven to 325 degrees F
- FOR THE CAKE:
- 3/4 cups Unsalted Butter, At Room Temperature
- 2 cups All-purpose Flour
- 2 teaspoons Baking Soda
- 3 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon Ground Ginger
- 1/4 teaspoons Allspice
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1-1/2 cup Sugar
- 1/2 cups Light Brown Sugar
- 1-1/2 cup Pumpkin Puree
- 3 whole Eggs
- 1/2 cups Sour Cream
- FOR THE FILLING:
- 16 whole Marshmallows
- 1 cup Unsalted Butter, At Room Temperature
- 1 cup Confectioner's Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
- 8 ounces, weight Marshmallow Fluff
- FOR THE FROSTING:
- 5 whole Egg Whites
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 2 cups Unsalted Butter, At Room Temperature
- 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
- 2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
