Iced Green Tea Elixir with Ginger & Lemon

Place the tea leaves in a large bowl
- 1/4 ounce good quality Chinese green tea leaves
- 1/4 cup lemon juice (from 1 lemon)
- 1/4 cup pomegranate syrup or pomegranate molasses, without any added sweeteners
- 3/4 cup ginger syrup, recipe below
- Mint, to garnish
- Lemon slices, to garnish
- Pomegranate seeds, to garnish
Moroccan Eggplant With Garbanzo Beans

This vegetarian dish is full of flavor, substantial, and makes a complete nutritious meal high in protein
- 1 tablespoon vegetable broth
- 1 large onion, sliced thin
- 5 garlic cloves, pressed
- 1 medium red bell pepper, cut in 1-inch squares
- 1 medium eggplant, cubed
- 1 pinch red pepper flakes
- 2 teaspoons turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans
- 1 (15 ounce) can lentils, drained
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1 1/4 cups vegetable broth
- 1/2 cup raisins
- salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped
Chipotle Turkey Chili

1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat, then add the onion and garlic
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 Large Onion (diced)
- 4 Garlic gloves (minced)
- 2 pounds Turkey (cut into bite-size pieces)
- 12 ounces Beer
- 14 ounces diced Tomatoes
- 3 Chipotle Peppers in Adobo (minced)
- 14 ounces Black Beans (drained and rinsed)
- 14 ounces Pinto Beans (drained and rinsed)
- 14 ounces Kidney Beans (drained and rinsed)
- 1 tablespoon Chili Powder
- 1 tablespoon ground Cumin
- 2 teaspoons Salt (plus more to taste)
- 1/4 cup Masa Harina (corn flour)
- Juice of 1 Lime
- Sour Cream (for serving)
- grated Sharp Cheddar Cheese (for serving)

Slow Cooker Caramelized Chicken

Combine all of the ingredients in a slow cooker
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup low sodium/lite soy sauce, optional Tamari
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 1 pound chicken breasts, cut into 1" cubes
- 1/2- 1 cup of vegetable or chicken stock
