Better-Than-Almost-Anything Cake

Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan)
- 1 box Betty Crocker® SuperMoist® German chocolate cake mix
- 1 Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- jar (16 to 17 oz) caramel, butterscotch or fudge topping
- 1 container (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1 bag (8 oz) toffee chips or bits
Homemade bread

1. Place the yeast and sugar in a small bowl
- 2 cups warm water
- 2 1/2 tsp active dry yeast
- 1/2 TB sugar
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 TB salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 5-7 cups of bread flour, white or wheat will work too (can use more if needed)
- 1 TB shortening
- 1 TB butter (to top bread)
Red Lobster Biscuits

1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees
- 2 cups Bisquick
- 2/3 cup milk (I used soy milk because we didn't have regular milk on hand)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (I used sharp cheddar)
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted (I used stick butter)
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder

In a Dutch oven, cook the bacon over medium heat until done
- 1 pound bacon, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 4 cups chicken stock, or enough to cover

My husband's grandmother's fudge recipe
- 3 pounds sugar (use a 2-cup measuring cup - 3 HEAPING)
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1/8 pound (2 Tablespoons) butter
- 1 cup white Karo
Brandied Chocolate Covered Cherries

These are so good. The longer you soak them the more brandy they absorb so be warned

- 1 box of crispix cereal
- 1 stick of butter (real stuff)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup white Karo syrup
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 clean brown paper bag (grocery size)
