Asian Sesame Shrimp Dip

1: COMBINE: in a bowl 1 c/ 250 ml
- 1 : COMBINE: in a bowl 1 c/ 250 ml. Miracle Whip dressing and a heaping spoonful each soy sauce and ground ginger.
- 2 : STIR: in a handful each toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onions, along with 1 can (106( g) drained baby shrimp. Cover and chill at least 1 hr. to blend flavors.
- 3 : SERVE: with an assortment of vegetables such as carrots, peppers, broccoli and blanched snow peas or with crackers.
Cheese Ball

- 2 tubs Imperial Cheese
- 3 cups sharp cheddar, shredded
- 1 x 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayo
- 1/4 cup green onions
- 2 jalapenos
- 6 dashes tobasco
- 1/4 t garlic powder
Potatoes Romanoff

- 1 bag frozen hash browns
- 2 cups grated cheddar
- 2 cups sour cream
- 6 chopped green onions
- 2 x 10 oz. can mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup melted butter
Ginger Snaps

Cream sugar and shortening until fluffy
- 2 c. white sugar
- 1 c. shortening/butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. molasses
- 2 eggs
- 3 - 3 1/2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. ginger
- 1 tsp. cloves
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
French Lace Horns

Combine flkour & nuts. Melt butter & shortening, add syrup & sugar and bring to boil
- 1 c flour
- 1 c finely chopped nuts
- 1/2 c light corn syrup
- 1/4 c butter
- 1/4 c vegetable shortening
- 2/3 c packed br. sugar
Broccoli-Onion Deluxe

Cut broccoli and onions and boil fo 10 min
- 1 lb. fresh broccoli
- 2 c whole small onions or 3 medium onions quartered
- 4 T butter
- 2 T flour
- 1 c milk
- 1 4oz. pkg. cream cheese
- 2 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 c soft bread crumbs

- 1/4 c butter
- 1 quartered garlic clove
- 1 lb. sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 lb. proscuitto ham (or cooked ham) cut in match sticks
- 3/4 cup whipping cream
- 1/4 t pepper
- 8 oz. green & white fettucine
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan or asiago
Mashed Potato Casserole

Freezes well, so great as a make ahead for aa big dinner
- 12 yukon gold potatoes (about 5 lbs.)
- 1 large white onion, chopped
- 1 250 gr. pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1 1/4 cups 18% cream (300 ml.)
- 4 green onions finely choped
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Cranberry Salsa

Whizz cranberries, sugar and lemon juice quickly in food processor
- 1 pkg. fresh cranberries
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup gr. onions
- 2 T jalapeno peppers
- 1/4 cup cilantro
- 2 T fresh grated ginger
- 2 T lemon juice
Cajun Cake

- CAKE:
- 2 cups AP flour
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 t baking powder
- 1/4 t salt
- 2 lg, eggs
- 1 x 16 oz. can crushed pineapple with juice
- TOPPING:
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar
- 12 oz. can evaporated milk
- 1/2 lb. butter (unsalted)
- 1 cup toasted, chopped pecans
- 2 cups flaked coconut
- 1 t vanilla
- 1/4 t salt (omit if using salted butter)
