Shrimp Fra Diavolo

Melt 1 tablespoon butter in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat
- 3 tablespoons butter, divided
- 1/3 cup panko (Japanese breadcrumbs)
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh Italian parsley, divided
- 1 1/4 pounds uncooked large shrimp, peeled, deveined, tails left intact
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 1/2 cups thinly sliced red onion
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon dried crushed red pepper
- 2/3 cup dry white wine (preferably Sauvignon Blanc)
- Lemon wedges
TURKEY - BUTTER BASTING METHOD

Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat until melted, stirring once or twice
- 1 cup butter
- 2 teaspoons dried leaf herbs
- 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
Maine Baked Mussels

Scrub mussels carefully. Remove barnacles and beards
- 3 dozen large mussels
- 1 lemon
- 1/4 lb. bacon
- 1 medium onion
- 2 tsps. chopped garlic, salt, pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 2 tablespoons butter
Sour Cream Chocolate Chip Cake

Alternate sour cream mixture and flour mixture into creamed mixture and beat until smooth
- Cream Together:
- 1/2 lb. butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs one at a time
- Mix Together in Mixing Bowl:
- 2 cups sour cream
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- Mix in separate bowl:
- 4 cups flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Topping:
- 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 large package of chocolate chips
- Mix altogether
Basic Bread Stuffing Casserole

Saute' celery and onion in butter until tender
- 2-6oz bags of seasoned cubed stuffing
- 1 cup- 2 sticks melted butter
- 1 1/2 cups chopped celery
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Sage, Rosemary and thyme for herbs
Olive Salad

Whisk all the ingredients together then all to olives
- Dressing:
- 1 - 16 oz. Green Olives with Pimento (small size olives)
- 2 - 8 oz. cans Black Pitted Olives (small size)
- 2 - 8 oz. Sicilian Olives- Pitted
- 3 Celery Sticks
- Olive Oil (about 1 cup)
- 2 tsp. oregano
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
Grilled Snow Crab with Shallot-Lime Butter

Note: A wonderful way to cook crab is on the grill
- 3 shallots, minced
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 tsp. grated lime peel
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 lb. snow crab clusters
- Lime wedges (optional)
Ambrosia

Drain all juices from cans
- 1 large can fruit cocktail
- 1 large can crushed pineapple
- 1 cans Mandarin oranges
- 2 - 16 oz. sour cream
- 1 bag miniature marshmallows
- 1 bag coconut
Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing

In a small bowl, whisk all ingredients together until blended
- 3/8 cups extra virgin olive oil
- 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
Grandmom's Italian Easter Cookies

My grandmom taught me to make these Easter cookies at Easter time
- ICING:
- 12 eggs
- 1 cup corn oil
- 1/2 pound margarine, melted
- 1 (2-ounce) bottle lemon extract
- 3 cups sugar
- 14 teaspoons baking powder
- 11 cups all purpose flour
- 1 bag confectioner's sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 packages round non-perils candies
