DESSERT - Cinnamon Buns/Dinner Buns

1. In a large bowl dissolve 2 tsp
- 2 tablespoons Fleischmann's® RapidRise Yeast
- ½ cup lukewarm water
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- ½ cup melted margarine
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt (cut back)
- 2 ½ cups warm water
- 8 cups all-purpose flour, or more if needed
- Cinnamon
- Brown sugar
- Margarine
VEGETABLES - Baked Beans

1. In a medium bowl, cover beans with cold water by several inches and stir in 1 tablespoon (15g) salt
- 1 pound dried small white beans (about 2 cups; 450g), such as navy beans
- Kosher salt
- Assorted peeled, halved, and trimmed aromatic vegetables (such as 1 yellow onion, 1 carrot, and 2 cloves garlic), optional
- 2 sprigs of a woodsy herb (such as rosemary, sage, and/or thyme), optional
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 cup (120ml) dark molasses (not blackstrap)
- 2 teaspoons (10ml) Dijon or brown mustard
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 pound (225g) salt pork or slab bacon, rinsed of excess salt if necessary and cut into 1/2-inch chunks (see note above)
- 1 large yellow onion, diced (about 8 ounces; 225g) (see note above)
- Apple cider vinegar, to taste (optional)
COOKIES - German Lebkuchen Rounds

Heat honey in a small pan over medium heat until it begins to bubble
- Glaze:
- 1 cup honey
- ¾ cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp grated lemon peel
- 2 ½ cups unsifted flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp allspice
- ½ tsp cloves
- ½ tsp nutmeg
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 1/3 cup finely chipped candied citron
- 1/3 cup finely chopped almonds
- cherries and almonds, to decorate
- 5 tbsp rum or water
- 1 cup unsifted powdered sugar (icing sugar)

SOUP - Lemon Chicken Soup with Orzo

Base: Heat large soup pot over medium heat
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 carrots, peeled and diced
- half of an onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 8–10 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup DeLallo whole wheat orzo
- 3-ish cups cooked chicken (I use shredded rotisserie chicken)
- 3 eggs
- juice of 3–4 lemons (about 1/2 cup)
- a handful of fresh spinach
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- lots of freshly ground pepper
- as much fresh dill as you can handle

- 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 egg beaten
- 1/4 cup finely chopped parsley
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 jar spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese
