- 1/2 cup (125 mL)
- apple juice
- 1 tbsp (15 mL)
- chopped fresh thyme
- 1/4 tsp (1 mL)
- ground cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp (0.5 mL)
- ground black pepper
- 1 1
- red apple, unpeeled, cut into wedges
Strawberry Banana High Fibre Shake

Directions • Mix all ingredients in a blender until smooth
- 50 ml or 1/4 cup All-Bran Original* cereal
- 50 ml or 1/4 cup chopped banana
- 75 ml or 1/3 cup fresh strawberries
- 50 ml or 1/4 cup almond butter
- 125 ml or 1/2 cup ice
- 125 ml or 1/2 cup water
Pressure Cooker Chicken Stock

Using an ordinary stock pot, making a stock takes hours
- 2 lb (900 g) chicken parts, primarily backs,
- but also including gizzards, necks, hearts
- and wings
- 1 medium onion, peeled and halved
- 1 celery stalk, cut in several pieces
- 1 large carrot, scraped and cut in several
- pieces 2 sprigs parsley
- 6 peppercorns or 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) ground
- black pepper
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) thyme
- 2 bay leaves
- Salt to taste
- 6 cups (1.4 l) water

Directions 1. In medium bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt
- 375 ml or 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 45 ml or 3 tbsp granulated sugar
- 15 ml or 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 ml or 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 325 ml or 1 1/3 cups 2% milk
- 30 ml or 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 large orange
- 175 ml or 3/4 cup All-Bran* Original cereal
- 175 ml or 3/4 cup fresh or frozen cranberries, chopped
