Liquid hand soap recipe

- 3/4 cup (187.5 ml) distilled water
- 1/4 cup (62.5 ml) liquid castile soap (found at most health food stores or organic grocers in unscented or scented with essential oils)
- Optional: 1/2 (2.5 ml) teaspoon grapeseed oil
Linguine with Spinach & Tomatoes

There are some recipes that truly can be prepared in a flash
- linguine for four people
- 3 tablespoons (45 ml) olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, finely cut
- 1 cup (250 ml) grape tomatoes, halved
- 4 cups (1 litre) loose leaf spinach leaves, torn from stem
- 1 cup (250 ml) chicken broth
- dash of dried hot chili peppers
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil (second amount)
Turkey Soup

Most Soups improve in flavour the second day of using
- Turkey carcass with excess meat removed
- 6 6 6 cups cold water (8 cups if its a large turkey)
- 1 1 1 cup celery leaves
- 2 2 2 sprigs parsley
- 1 1 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 1 1 large carrot, sliced
- 2 2 2 teaspoons salt
- 3 3 3 peppercorns
- 1 1 1 bay leaf
- 1 1 1 tsp poultry seasoning
Barbeque Sauce

In a saucepan heat oil cook onion until soft but not browned
- 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 large onion
- 1/4 cup lightly packed brown sugar
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp chili powder
- pinch cayenne pepper

- 4 4-ounce salmon filets
- 1 teaspoon mild olive oil
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup finely chopped green & black olives, mixed, pitted
- 1 finely chopped Roma tomato, cut in half, seeds squeezed out
- 1/4 cup finely chopped flat parsley leaves
- 1 minced garlic clove
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Maple Planked Herbed Salmon

1. Presoak maple plank and preheat barbecue according to package instructions
- 1 Compliments Maple Plank
- 1/4 cup finely chopped mixed herbs (chives, parsley, dill, rosemary, basil, mint) 60 mL
- 2 tbsp Compliments Honey Mustard 30 mL
- 10 oz (approx. 2) salmon fillets 280 g
- 1 tbsp Compliments Pure Olive Oil 15 mL
- Salt & pepper, to taste
Tuna Melt

The melted Swiss cheese & sundried tomato spread are a delicious complement to the smoked tuna slices
- 2 cans (170 g each)
- Gold Seal® Solid White tuna, drained
- 1/4 cup finely diced red peppers
- 1/4 cup finely diced celery
- 3/4 cup low fat mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
- freshly cracked pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded or thinly sliced old cheddar
- 6 thin slices of rye or your favourite bread
My Grandma Lucky's Banana Bread Recipe

Cream Butter. Add Sugar and mix in order given
- 1/2 cups Butter (don't substitute!)
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 Eggs, well beaten
- 2-3 Ripe Bananas, well beaten
- 2 teaspoon Sour Milk (splash of vinegar with the milk)
- 2 cups Flour, Sifted!
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
