Preheat oven to 350 F Cream butter and brown sugar
- 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, lightly packed
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups quick cooking oatmeal
- 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 1 cup M&M’s chips
Ribs, Fennel & Kalonji Spiced Baby Back

- Ground Spice Mixture:
- 3 lbs baby back ribs
- 10 cups water
- 6 whole dried cayenne peppers
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 10 cloves
- 3-inch cinnamon stick
- 2 tbsp fennel seeds
- 12 green cardamon pods
- 16 cloves
- 1/2 tsp black peppercorns
- 1 tsp kalonji seeds
- 1/2 tsp ground mace
- 2 tsp ground cayenne pepper
- Spice Rub:
- 1/2 cup canned crushed tomatoes
- 1/3 cup cooking oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp finely chopped ginger
- 1 tbsp ground spice mixture (above)

In a large bowl, combine flour, butter, egg, salt, and water

- 1 1/3 cup flour
- ½ cup cold, unsalted butter, cut into ½ inch cubes

- 1 bunch watercress, finely chopped
- 8 ounces crabmeat
- 1 tbsp. wholegrain mustard

- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp sherry
- ¼ tsp. freshly grated nutmeg

- 1/2 cup light cream

- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 3 1/4 - 3 1/ 2cups flour

Blanch the potato slices in salted water for 5 minutes and drain
- 1 lb unpeeled baby red potatoes in 1/4 inch rounds
- 2 tbsp red miso
- 2 tsp sake
- 1 tsp mirin
- 1/4 cup oil
- 2 tsp toasted sesame seeds
