- 2/3 cups milk
- 1 1/2 cups sifted flour

Butternut Squash and Spinach Curry

1. Heat oil in a large, deep pan, add the onion and cook for 2-3 minutes
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 large onion, peeled and chopped
- 1 medium butternut squash (about 2 2/4 lbs.), peeled and cut into 3/4 in cubes
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
- 2 to 3 tablespoons curry paste1
- 4 ounces can chopped tomatoes
- 8 ounces bag fresh baby spinach, rinsed
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Spicy Grilled Tuna with Garden Salsa

- 6 large cloves of garlic unpeeled
- 3 jalapeño chiles, stemmed
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 1 teaspoon salt, divided
- 4 tuna steaks (5 ounces each, about 3/4 inch thick)

- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, finely chopped

Smoked Paprika Fish with Carrots

Pour 1 1/2 cups of water, 1/2 tsp of salt, and 1/4 tsp of turmeric into a large saute pan
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- 1 bunch fresh cilantro, cut into large pieces (reserve a few pieces for garnish)
- 1 lb. carrots, peeled, halved lengthwise and cut into quarters
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 4 boneless fish fillets (best if you use thick, firm fish like halibut or snapper)
- 2 tbsp smoked paprika, divided
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil, divided
- Salt and pepper
Greek Chicken With Potatoes and Mushrooms

A huge favorite at my house! You can use more oregano if desired
- 8 -10 chicken pieces
- 5 -7 large potatoes, peeled, then cut into four pieces lenghwise (I like to use Yukon gold or russets)
- 3 -5 tablespoons olive oil
- salt and pepper
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup chicken stock or 1 cup broth
- 3/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh minced garlic (or to taste)
- 2/3 cup fresh lemon juice (you can use a little less lemon juice)
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme (rubbed between your fingers to release the flavors)
- 1 lb button mushroom (or to taste, make certain that the mushrooms are small)
Easy Ham and Fresh Tomato Quiche

Honey and Black Pepper Steak

Another one of the quick and delicious meals I would rather make than buy expensive take aways
- 40 ml oil
- 500 g round steaks, cut into thin strips
- 1 onion, sliced into wedges
- 300 g sugar snap peas
- 40 ml honey
- 40 ml soy sauce
- 40 ml oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon of freshly cracked black pepper (the original recipe called for 3 but we found it too peppery)
