Honey Whole Wheat Bread

Easy and very yummy
- 3 cups stone-ground whole wheat or graham flour ( I use whole wheat or King Arthurs white whole wheat)
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup shortening
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 2 packages regulart or quick active dry yeast
- 2 1/4 cups very warm water (120 to 130 degrees)
- 3 to 4 cups all purpose flour or bread flour
- Margarine or butter, melted if desired
Coffee Cake

mix oil, eggs, and water with mixer
- Topping:
- 1 yellow cake mix
- 2 small boxes instant pudding (1 vanilla and 1 butterscotch)
- 1 cup oil
- 1 cup and 1 TB water
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Beef Enchiladas

Great Frozen, great for a meal swap
- 1 pound of hamburger
- 1 onion
- 1 pkg taco seasoning mix
- 1 can chopped tomatoes including juice
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- dash of red pepper
- uncooked flour tortilla shells
- shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 2/3 cup milk
English Toffee Bars

Butter a 15-in. x 10-in. x 1-in
- 1 tablespoon plus 1-3/4 cups butter, softened, divided
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 pound milk chocolate candy coating, coarsely chopped
Saucy Meatballs

1. Combine chili sauce, jelly and mustard in slow cooker
- 1 1/2 cups chili sauce
- 1 cup grape jelly
- 3 tsp brown spicy mustard
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 egg
- 3 Tbs Italian bread crumbs
- 1/2 tsp salt
Hashbrown Cheesy potatoes

In a large bowl, combine the soup, sour cream and garlic salt
- 2 cans (10-3/4 ounces each) condensed cream of potato soup, undiluted
- 1 cup (8 ounces) sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 package (2 pounds) frozen hash brown potatoes
- 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese
Dessert Pizza

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 1 package (18 ounces)refrigerated sugar cookie dough
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 4 cups assorted fresh fruit such as sliced strawberries, kiwi, bananas, or peaches; blueberries or raspberries

Stove Top directions: 1. Stir oats into briskly boiling salted water 2
- 1 serving- 1/2 cup quick oats, 1 cup water and dash of salt.
- 2 ¬servings= 1 cup quick oats, 1 3/4 cup water and dash of salt
- 4 servings- 2 cups quick oats, 3 1/2 cup water, and 1/4 tsp. salt
- 8 servings- 4 cups quick oats, 6 1/2 cup water and 1/2 tsp. salt
- 16 servings- 8 cups quick oats, 13 cups water and 1 tsp salt
Huevos Rancheros Strata

1. Spray a 9 x 13 baking pan with nonstick cooking spray; set aside 2
- 1 (1 pound) package of sliced bacon
- 2 (8 ounce) packages diced cooked ham, drained
- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped onion, thawed and drained- I use fresh
- 2 ( 1 pound, 8 ounce) loaves sliced white bread, crusts removed, divided
- 2 (16 ounce) cans refried beans
- 1 (8 ounce) package shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
- 8 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 1/2 cups whole milk
- 1 tsp. garlic hear seasoning blend (I used garlic salt)
- 1 (8 ounce) package of montery jack cheese
- garnish of avocado slices, salsa, chopped green onion
