Double Expresso Brownies

1. Heat oven to 375 degrees
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 tsp. baking cocoa
- 3 tsp. instant expresso coffee (dry)
- 1/2 cup water
- 3/4 cup butter or margarine
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/3 cup buttermilk
- 1 egg
- Expresso Frosting
- 1/4 cup baking cocoa
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1/3 cup buttermilk
- 4 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. instant expresso coffee (dry)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Lemon Crinkle Cookies

Makes 2-3 dozen Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 1/2 cups butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 whole egg
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoons baking soda
- 1-1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Chocolate Passion Bowl

A great "girl" dessert. Given to me by my neighbor Sarah Steiner
- 1 pkg. (18.3 to 19.5 oz.) brownie mix (family size)
- 2 pkg. (3.9 oz. each) JELL-O Chocolate Instant Pudding
- 3 cups cold milk
- 1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed, divided
- 2 cups fresh raspberries
Sausage Roll

A all time favorite from when I was a kid
- 2 loaves of white frozen bread (I make my own)
- 2 pounds of sausage ( I use 1 original and one hot zesty)
- 1 cup of chopped mushrooms, fresh
- 1 onion, medium chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 package of mozzarella cheese
- 1 package of hot pepper cheese
- 1 egg

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees (if using dark or noonstick pan, heat oven to 325)
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 3/4 cup butter and margarine, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup old fashion oats or quick cooking oats
- 1 bag (14 ounces) carmels, unwrapped
- 1/3 cup half and half
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chunks
- 1 cup coarsely chopped mixed nuts
- 1/4 cup broken pretzel twists

- 3 eggs- beat
- 1 cup oil
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups zucchini peel and grated
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tsp soda
- 1/4 Tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp cinnamon
Jell-o and Juice Flag Mold

- 3 cups boiling water
- 4 pkg. (4-servings each) or 2 pkg. (8 servings each) Jell-o Brand Gelatin Dessert, any red flavor
- 3 cups Dole 100% Pineapple Orange Juice
Ginger Apple Muffins

- Muffins:
- 3 Cups apples, peeled, cored and chopped, 4 medium apples
- 3 large eggs, beaten
- 1 Cup vegetable oil (we like canola)
- 2 tsp. PURE VANILLA EXTRACT
- 1/2 tsp. PURE ALMOND EXTRACT
- 2 Cups granulated white sugar
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. PENZEYS CINNAMON
- 2 tsp. SWEET GINGER BITS
- 3 Cups all-purpose flour
- Topping:
- 3/4 Cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 Cup granulated white sugar
- 1 tsp. PENZEYS CINNAMON
- 1 tsp. SWEET GINGER BITS
- 6 TB. butter, cold but not rock hard
Blueberry Crumb Bars

- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cold unsalted butter (2 sticks or 8 ounces)
- 1 egg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Zest and juice of one lemon
- 4 cups fresh blueberries
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 4 teaspoons cornstarch
