  • 1/2 cup sweetened dried cranberries
  • 12 Bibb lettue leaves (about 1 head)
  • 1/4 cup toasted sliced almonds, chopped

The best artichoke Dip I have had

  • 2 14 oz cans of artichoke hearts (drained)
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic finely chopped
  • 2 shallots finely chopped
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 2 pounds frozen chopped spinach drained well
  • 1 can black beans ringed and drained well
  • 1 small can shoe peg corn ringed and drained well
  • 1 pint whipping cream
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 1 , 6ounce can Parmesan cheese (Parmesan and Romano even better)
  • 1/2 teaspoon roasted chipotle pepper (or more depending on your taste buds, for me I like 1 teaspoon yet that is more than most like)
  • 8 pita rounds

  • Dough:
  • 1 1 1 pkg active dry yeast
  • 1 1 1 cup warm milk (110-115 degrees, about 1 minute in microwave)
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 1/3 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 1 1 tsp salt
  • 3 3 3 eggs
  • 4 4 4 cups flour
  • 1 Mix the milk and yeast together. Add sugar, butter, salt, and eggs. Mix together and then add teh flour. Cover the dough and let rise for 1 hour.
  • Filling:
  • 1 1 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 1/2 2 1/2 1/2 Tbsp. cinnamon
  • 1/3 1/3 1/3 cup softened butter
