a great change from normal m and m cookies
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/4 cup flour
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 bag of M&M mini candies
Cream Cheese Crescent Rolls

Great Breakfast roll
- 2-8 oz. tubes of crescent rolls
- 2-8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 cup sugar
English Muffin Breakfast Strata

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and stir in sausage
- 1 (16 ounce) package ground pork sausage
- 1/4 cup butter, or as needed
- 2 (12 ounce) packages English muffins, split
- 10 ounces shredded sharp Cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 (8 ounce) package shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
- 8 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups sour cream
- 1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chilies, drained
Fresh Tomato Basil Soup

Found in Recipe book and it sounded good
- 1 medium carrot, peeled and cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1 rib celery, cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1 small onion¸peeled and cut into 1 inch pieces
- 6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 can (14 ounces) chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 can (11.5 ounce) tomato juice
- 4 tomatoes, peeled, cored, seeded, and cut into quarters
- ¼ tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. white pepper
- 1/4 – 1/3 cup torn, loosely packed fresh basil leaves
Tarragon-Citrus Marinade

in a medium bowl, whisk the ingredients
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup roughly chopped fresh tarragon
- Zest and juice from 1 orange
- zest and juice from 1 lemon
- 2 Tbsp. sherry vinegar
- 2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1 tsp. minced garlic
- 1 tsp. grated ginger
- 1/2 tsp. prepared chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
Cottage Cheese salad

- 1 (9 oz.) carton of cool whip
- 1 pound of cottage cheese
- 1 medium size can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
- 1/2 cup miniature marshmallows

- 1 1/2 cups Shortening (Butter Flavored Crisco)
- 2 cups Sugar
- 1/2 cup Molasses
- 2 Eggs
- 4 tsp. Baking Soda
- 4 1/2 cups Flour
- 1 tsp. Cloves
- 1 tsp. Ginger
- 2 tsp. Cinnamon
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1 Tablespoon Milk
- Sugar for rolling cookies OR Frosting Glaze
- Frosting Glaze
- 1 1/4 cups of powdered sugar
- 3 Tablespoons of Milk

Buttercream for the pure cupcakes
- 1 1/4 cups (2 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature.
- 6 Tbsp. vegetable shortening
- 10 cups (from about 2 and 1/2 1 pound boxes) confectioners' sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 Tbsp. Mexican Vanilla (I used Madagascar Vanilla)
Chocolate Revel Bars

A great rich dessert
- Chocolate Filling:
- 1 cup margarine
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups sifted flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 cups quick cooking oats
- 12 ounces milk chocolate pieces
- 1 can eagle brand sweetened condensed milk
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Gingerbread bars with Orange frosting

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all gingerbread ingredients in large bowl
- Gingerbread:
- 3 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup margarine, softened
- 1 cup water
- 2/3 cup light molasses
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
- Frosting
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup Land o Lakes margarine
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp grated orange zest
