Seafood: Low Country Shrimp Boil

In a large stockpot, bring water, Old Bay Seasoning, vinegar and salt to a boil
- 2 pounds Andouille sausage links, cut into 2" pieces
- 12 ears corn, husked, cleaned and cut into thirds
- 4 pounds large white shrimp
- 6 quarts water
- 3/4 cup Old Bay Seasoning
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 2 T salt
- 2 pounds red new potatoes, halved

- 2 sticks butter
- 1 cup water
- 4 T cocoa
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs slightly beaten

- 1 stick butter
- 4 T cocoa
- 6 T milk
- 1 box 4X sugar, sifted

- 1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell: refrigerated, frozen or homemade
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 t ground cinnamon
- 1/2 t ground ginger
- 14 t ground cloves
- 2 eggs
- 1 3/4 cups (15 ounce can) Libby's Solid Pack Pumpkin
- 1 1/2 cups (12 fluid ounce can)
- Carnation Evaporated Milk

Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour turning every 15 minutes
- 3 cups cheerios
- 2 cups wheat chex
- 2 cups rice chez
- 1 1/2 cups cashews
- 1 1/2 cup peanuts
- 2 cups pretzels
- 12 T butter
- 1 1/2 t garlic salt, optional
- 1 1/2 t onion salt, optional
- 1 t celery salt
Seafood: Crab Casserole

Make a white sauce. Stir in next three ingredients
- 6 T butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 7 1/2 oz can crabmeat
- 2 hard cooked eggs, chopped
- 1/2 cup copped pimento
- 1/2 cup Panko bread crumbs
- 2 T butter
- 1/4 cup slivered almonds
- May add mushrooms
- May add celery
Thanksgiving: Southern Cornbread Dressing/Mammaw's dressing

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F In a large bowl, combine crumbled cornbread, dried white bread slices and saltines,

- 7 slices oven-dried white bread
- 1 sleeve saltine crackers
- 8 T butter
- 2 cups celery, chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 7 cups chicken or vegetable stock
- 1 t salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 1 t sage
- 1 T poultry seasoning
- 5 eggs, beaten
- Cornbread
- 1 cup self-rising cornmeal
- 1/2 cup self-rising flour
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 2 T vegetable oil
- Mammaw's Turkey Dressing
- 1 cake cornbread
- 1 stick crackers
- 1 small loaf white bread
- 1 bunch (3 cups) chopped celery
- 1 onion
- 1-2 T sage
- 2-3 cans chicken broth or cream of chicken soup
- Hot water as needed
- 1 stick butter, melted
- Makes 36 patties
- Bake 400 degrees for 25 minutes

- 1 1/2 lbs summer squash (zucchini), diced or sliced
- 1 medium onion, chopped

- 1 can green chilies

- 1 egg
- 1 cup cottage cheese
