Seafood: Savory Broiled Mackeral

- 3 lbs mackeral, split and cleaned for broiling
- 1/3 cup salad oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 t vinegar
- 1 t prepared mustard
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/4 t paprika
- 1/2 t bottled meat sauce

- 1 pint fresh strawberries, hulled (for the top)
- Confectioners' sugar, to garnish, optional
