Yogurt Strawberries

Rich Peanut Clusters

It’s cheaper to make these bite-size morsels than it is to buy them in the store
- 2 packages (12 ounces each) semisweet chocolate chips
- 2 packages (10 to 12 ounces each) vanilla or white chips
- 1 tablespoon shortening
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon butter, softened
- 2 cans (12 ounces each) salted peanuts
Streusel Rhubarb Bread

This tender bread from Irene Sankey of Stevens Point, Wisconsin has a sweet crunchy topping and great rhubarb taste
- TOPPING:
- 1-1/2 cups packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 1 egg
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1-1/2 cups chopped fresh or sliced frozen rhubarb
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon cold butter
Sugar Cookie Oatmeal

Heat the water and milk, then add the teabags and let sit for at least 15 minutes
- ■1/2 cup rolled oats
- ■1 cup water
- ■1/2 cup milk of choice (I used almond milk)
- ■2 Celestial Seasonings sugar cookie teabags (or perhaps a different tea?)
- ■1/4 tsp salt
- ■1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
- ■sweetener of choice, as desired
- ■optional: coconut butter or oil, or vegan butter (You can easily omit this. But I liked the extra buttery flavor I got by stirring a little virgin coconut oil into my oats.)

- 2 c. water (1 cold, 1 hot)
- 1/2 c. honey
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder

- 1/3 c. corn oil or melted shortening

Steak Stir-Fry

No one would guess this elegant entrée is a snap to prepare at the last minute
- 1 tsp beef bouillon granules
- 1 cup boiling water
- 2 Tbls. cornstarch
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1 pound boneless sirloin steak, cut into thin strips
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 2 Tbls. vegetable oil, divided
- 1 large green pepper, julienned
- 1 cup sliced carrots or celery
- 5 green onions, cut into 1-in pieces
- Hot cooked rice
