Soak gelatin in cold water
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 egg whites
- 1 tbsp. gelatin
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
Lemon Sponge Pudding

- 1 tbsp. butter
- juice and rind of 1 lemon
- 1 cup milk
- 2 eggs, separated
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp. flour
Chiffon Pie

Stir together the 1/4 cup sugar and gelatine in saucepan
- baked pie shell:
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 10-oz. package strawberries or raspberries, thawed
- 3 egg whites
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 envelope gelatine
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1/4 cup graham wafer crumbs
- 1/3 cup margarine
- 3 tbsp. sugar
- (Bake 10 minutes at 350 deg.)
Lemon Dessert

Beat until smooth in large bowl
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 small tin frozen lemonade (don't thaw)
- 9-oz. carton Cool Whip (don't thaw)
- Uncooked graham crust
Caramel Cookies

Combine sugar, margarine and evaporated milk in saucepan and bring to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly
- 2 cups white sugar
- 3/4 cup margarine
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk
- 1 4-oz. package of instant butterscotch or caramel pudding
- 3 1/2 cups rolled oats

- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. dried basil
- 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

- 1 2/3 cups once-sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup cut-up flaked or shredded cocunut
- 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 1 cup milk
- 1 /s tsp. vanilla
