- for the sauce:
- Cilantro
- chopped onion
- chopped tomatoe
- some salt
- cod or other white fish
- some black olives
- several lemon slices
- 1 cup olive oil
- 1 t paprika
- 1 t cinnamon
- 1/2 turmeric
- 1/2 t safron
- salt and pepper
- 1 T ginger (shredded)
- 3 T honey
- 3 cloves of garlic
Soup. (Russian mushroom soup)

see ingredients
- 1 lb mushrooms. quatered length wise
- add approx. 3 ltr water
- boil for 30 min Till you can smell the mushrooms
- Add salt. generously
- saute 1 med onion and add to the soup
- Boil
- Add 1 cubed med potato and some linguini noodles
- Pour approx. 1/4 cup of olive oil over the soup
- When noodles are soft, the soup is done

- 4 medium carrots, peeled
- 3 medium, well washed beets
- 3 medium potatoes, peeled
- 1 small red onion finely chopped
- 4 hard boiled eggs
- 1 1/2 c mayonnaise
- 600 ml herring filets in brine or pickled herring
- fresh dill and parsley
Olives (Portugal olives)

Mix all together
- 250 gr Olives (black)
- 1/2 t Salt
- 1/8 t Pepper
- 2 t Oregano
- 1 (approx 8 cm long) redor green pepper (hot?)
- 1 Large clove garlic
- 4 t olive oil
- 1 t Lemon juice

In oven at 200F for 1 hour Stirring often
- 4 c cheerios
- 2 c shreddies
- 2 c pretzels
- 2 c peanuts
- 1 T celery salt
- 1/2 t garlic powder
- 1 T Worchestershire sauce
- 3/4 c melted butter

- 1 lb large mushrooms
- 1/2 lb raw chopped shrimp
- 2 T chopped green onion
- 3 T pimento
- 3 T minced celery
- 1/4 T minced garlic
- 2 T chopped parsley
- Add Worchestershire sauce and salt and pepper

- 3 Bacon strips,diced
- 2 small onions, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 1/4 t ground ginger or 3 T minced fresh gingerroot
- 4 cans (15 ounces each) great Northern beans, rinsed and drained
- 1/2 cup apple cider or juice
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup crushed gingersnaps, optional
- 1 T dijon mustard
- 1/2 t dried thyme
- 1/2 t ground allspice
- 2 bay leaves

- 100 gr candied fruit
- 100 gr orange slivvers
