Spinach Salad with Strawberries and Poppyseed Dressing

To prepare dressing, whisk together first 6 ingredients until blended
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp milk
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp poppyseed
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 8 cuyps baby spinach or torn romaine lettuce
- 2 cups sliced strawberries
- 1/4 cup slivered almonds, toasted
Tomato, Watermelon and Feta Salad

For the Basil Oil: Bring a saucepan of water to a boil and have a bowl of ice water ready
- "Basil Oil"
- leaves from 1 bunch of fresh basil
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- salt
- "Salad"
- 2 large, ripe tomatoes, cored and each cut into 4 thick slices
- seedless watermelon, cut into 12 thre inch long batons
- 8 about 8 oz firm sheeps milk feta cheese, cut into eight two inch long batons
- "Garish"
- 1/4 cup balsameic vinegar
- herbed fleu de sel for serving
- small, fresh basil leaves
HOT OR COLD SHRIMP DIP

Combine all ingredients. May be served cold or heated in a chafing dish
- 1 lb. cooked shrimp
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1 med. onion, grated fine
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- 4 tbsp. parsley flakes
- 3 dashes Tabasco sauce
- Salt to taste
- Enough ketchup to cover
Swedish Meat Balls

Preheat oven to 350F. Mix together beef, crumbs, cream, onion, butter, beaten egg and seasonings
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 1 1/2 cups soft bread crumbs
- 1 cup cream or milk
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ginger
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 (10oz) cans beef bouillon or mushroom soup
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 2 tbsp margarine
Meatloaf

A real family favourite - made in the microwave
- 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1 tsp prepared mustard
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 medium onion, minced
- 1/4 cup cracker crumbs
- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Overnight Caramel French Toast

Combine sugar, butter and syrup in a heavy saucepan
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1/3 cup corn syrup
- 8-10 slices French bread 1 1/2" thick
- 4 eggs
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp nutmet
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon

- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2/3 cup margarine
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup glazed cherries
- 1/2 cup almonds
- 1/2 tsp almond extract
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
Make Ahead CranApple French Toast

VANILLA CREAM: Add Whip It and Vanilla Sugar to cream; whip until soft peaks form
- VANILLA CREAM:
- 1 pouch Dr. Oetker Whip It
- 1 pouch Dr. Oetker Vanilla Sugar
- 1 cup whipping cream, chilled
- CRANAPPLE FILLING:
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 4 apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- FRENCH TOAST:
- 1 loaf unsliced egg bread
- 1 pkg cream cheese cubed (optional)
- 2 cartons (1pkg/500 g) Break-Free eggs
- 1 can(385 ml) evaporated milk
- 2 pouches vanilla sugar
Sesame Noodles

Cook spaghetti in large saucepan as directed adding snow peas to boiling water in the last 30 seconds
- 300 g (1/3 of 900 grm pkg) spaghetti, uncooked
- 1 cup snow peas, cut lengthwise in half
- 2 tbsp smooth peanut butter
- 1/4 cup Asian Sesame Dressing
- 1 tbsp lite soy sauce
- 1 red pepper, cut into thin strips
- 1 cup matchlike carrot sticks
- 3 green onions, diagonally sliced
- 2 tsp chopped peanuts
Taco Salad

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 envelope taco seasoning mix
- 1 14 oz can diced tomatoes
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 6 cups torn lettuce
- 2 medium tomatoes - chopped
- 1/2 cup grated cheddar
- 2 green onions
- 1/2 cup tortilla chips - broken
