Cinnamon Bread

1) In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, yeast, cinnamon, salt, and baking powder
- 3 cups King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour OR Perfect Pastry Blend
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup cinnamon chips or cinnamon Flav-R-Bites
- Cinnamon-Sugar Plus or cinnamon-sugar, for topping
Guiness Brownies

Bow down to all that is rich chocolaty goodness
- 4 eggs
- 140 g caster sugar
- 340 g of various chocolate (I used G&B almond, dark chocolate drops & 2 types of Hotel Chocolat bars)
- 70 g unsalted butter
- 110 g plain flour
- 2 tsp cocoa
- 290 ml Guinness
- icing sugar
Sweet Potato & Garlic Soup

1. Preheat the oven to 375F
- 1 whole garlic bulb
- 2 sprays olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 10.5 oz sweet potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 4 cups vegetable stock
- 4 oz green string beans, trimmed and finely chopped
- pepper
- 1 tbsp snipped fresh chives
- 4 tbsp low-fat plain yogurt, to serve
Cookie Dough Truffles

Directions In a large bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy

- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup HERSHEY’®S Mini Chips Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1-1/2 pounds dark chocolate candy coating, coarsely chopped
Vegetarian Spaghetti Sauce

This is one of my favourite sauces
- 1 large red onion, chopped
- 1 large red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 large zucchini, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 small eggplant, chopped
- 1 (14 oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 (6 oz) can tomato puree
- 8 ounces sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 cup vegetable broth
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil
- 2 tablespoons dried oregano
Egg Substitute for Baking

This mixture will substitute for one egg in most baking and cooking recipes
- 1 tablespoon flaxseed
- 3 tablespoons water
Garlic Bubble Loaves

In a large mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water
- 2 packages of active dry yeast, (2 scant Tbls)
- 1/4 warm water (110-115 degrees)
- 2 cups warm milk (110-115 deg)
- 2 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon shortening
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 6 1/4-6 1/2 cups all purpose or bread flour
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 Tablespoons dried parsley
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
Bara Brith

I’m a bit of a melting pot
- 450 g mixed fruit
- 300 ml strong tea
- 450 g self-raising flour
- 2 tbsp marmalade
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp mixed spice
- 6 tbsp muscovado sugar
- honey, for glazing
Melting Marshmallow Cake

According the cookbook the base should have a soft cookie texture, but it turned out as a thick light sponge
- 130 g unsalted butter, softened
- 75 g vanilla caster sugar
- grated rind of 1 lemon
- 1 dsp vanilla extract
- 75 g ground almonds
- 1 egg
- 115 g self raising flour
- 150 g raspberry jam
- 200 g marshmallows, cut in half
- icing sugar, for dusting
Impossible Cheeseburger Pie

Heat oven to 400°F. Spray 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray
- 1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped (1 cup)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz)
- 1/2 cup Original Bisquick® mix
- 1 cup milk
- 2 eggs
