Blueberries can be substituted for cherries
- 4 teaspoons sugar
- 1 - 2 tablespoons minced fresh mint leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 medium cantaloupe, rind and seeds removed, cut into 1/2-inch pieces (about 3 cups)
- 2 red plums (or black), about 5 ounces each, pitted and cut into 1/2-inch pieces (about 2 cups)
- 8 ounces pitted, fresh cherries, halved (about 2 cups)
- 1 - 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (see note)
