You will need a fully baked pie shell for this recipe
- 1 cup heavy cream, chilled
- 3 large eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons water
- 8 ounces bittersweet chocolate, melted and cooled
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 8 tablespoon unsalted butter, cut into 1/2 inch pieces and softened
- 1 (9-inch) pie shell, baked and cooled
Baked Manicotti with Meat Sauce (ATK)

Grind Meat: Adjust oven rack to upper-middle position and heat oven to 375 degrees
- Meat Sauce
- 1 onion, chopped
- 6 ounces sliced deli pepperoni
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 (28 ounce) cans crushed tomatoes
- Salt and pepper
- Manicotti
- 3 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 1/2 cups shredded provolone cheese
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh basil
- 16 lasagna noodles
Lemon Yogurt Berry Swirl (Food Network)

Add berries, lemon juice and confectioners' sugar in a pan over medium heat
- Berry swirl:
- 3 cups mixed berries (any combination, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries) frozen
- 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1 lemon, juiced

- 1 1/2 cups lowfat vanilla yogurt
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest

- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups sliced onions
- 4 whole cloves garlic, peeled
- 1/4 cup diced celery
- 6 yukon gold potatoes, peeled and cut into quarters
- 3 cans (16 ounce each) artichoke hearts, drained
- 8 cups chicken stock
- 2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 8 to 10 dashes Tabasco sauce
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups light cream
- Roasted artichokes
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Spinach Quiche (AR)

This recipe is excellent served for breakfast with fruit, or at lunch or dinner with a salad
- 1/2 pound thick sliced bacon
- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped
- spinach, thawed
- 1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 (9 inch) unbaked pie crusts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, finely diced
- 2 cups finely diced smoked ham
- 8 ounces Monterey Jack cheese,
- shredded
- 8 ounces Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 4 ounces Parmesan cheese, grated
- 8 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups half-and-half cream
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley

Adjust oven rack to middle position; heat oven to 375 degrees
- 1 cup rolled oats (4 1/2 ounces) or quick oats
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour (7 1/2 ounces)
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar (2 1/4 ounces)
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon table salt
- 10 tablespoons unsalted butter , cold, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup dried apricots
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar for sprinkling

Preheat the oven to 425. Butter a 9 by 9 inch baking dish
- 2 slices bacon, diced
- 1/3 cup minced onion
- 1/3 cup chopped green pepper
- 1 (16 ounce) can pork and beans
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Pinch of pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard

- 1 tablespoon sunflower oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 6 cups pumpkin cut into large chunks
- 3 cups sliced potatoes
- 2 1/2 cups vegetable stock
- A good pinch of freshly grated nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh tarragon
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 1 to 2 teaspoons lemon juice

- 3 pounds stew beef, cut into bite size pieces
- 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
- 12 cups water
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt

- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large onion, peeled and diced
- 2 ribs celery, diced
- 6 carrots, peeled and sliced or diced
- Cooked stew beef
- 1/2 pound pearl barley
- 1 cup Burgundy wine
- 1 can (8 ounces) tomato paste
- 8 cups beef stock
- 2 bay leaves
- 5 dashes Worcestershire
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper
