Apple-Cream Cheese Bundt Cake

Prepare Filling: Beat first 3 ingredients at medium speed with an electric mixer until blended and smooth

Buttermilk Onion Rings

Peel the onions and slice them crosswise into 1-inch-thick slices
- 2 large Vidalia or other sweet onions
- 1 quart peanut oil
- 2 cups buttermilk
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
