GREEN BEANS WITH BACON AND ONIONS

Prepare an ice bath. Bring a large saucepan of water to a boil
- 2 2 2 lb. green beans, trimmed
- 2 1/4 2 1/4 1/4 tsp. salt
- 4 4 1-inch slices thick bacon, cut into 1-inch wide strips
- 1 1 1-inch medium onion, cut into 1-inch pieces
WASSEL

Put spices in a clean bag and simmer in juices for 1 hour
- 1 gallon apple cider
- 1 qt. orange juice
- 1 C. real lemon juice
- 4 C. water
- 3 c. sugar
- 24 whole cloves
- 12 allspice berries
- 6 cinnamon sticks
- 2 pieces ginger
SPICY BARBECUED CHICKEN

Combine all marinade ingredients in a bowl
- Marinade:
- 1/4 C. vegetable oil
- 1/2 C. vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. minced onion
- 1 tsp. celery salt
- 1/4 tsp. basil
- 1/4 tsp. marjoram
- 1/4 tsp. rosemary
- 3 lb. chicken pieces
- 1/2 C. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 6 oz. tomato paste
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
CHICKEN IN A POT

Put carrots, onions and celery in bottom of crock pot
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 onions, sliced
- 2 celery stalks with leaves, cut in 1-inch pieces
- 1 3lb. whole fryer chicken
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 C. water or chicken broth
- 1/2-1 tsp. basil
Fettuccine Alfredo

Cook chicken, dressing and soup in crock-pot for 3 hours
- 4 4 4 chicken breasts
- 1 1 1 pkg. Garlic Cheese Dressing
- 1 1 1 can cream of chicken
- 1 1 1 C. sour cream
- 1 1 1 lb. fettuccine, cooked
OVEN FRIED CHICKEN

Preheat oven to 425F. Wash chicken and pat dry
- 2 1/2 lb. chicken
- 1/4 C. shortening
- 1/4 C. butter
- 1/2 C. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
STUFFING

Pour drippings from roasting pan into a large glass measuring cup
- day old bread
- butter, melted
- salt & pepper
- poultry seasoning
- 1 onion, chopped
- celery, chipped
GRAVY

Heat meat juice and about 2-4 cups of water to a boil
- meat juice
- 2-4 2-4 2-4 C. water
- 1 1 1 C. water
- 1-2 1-2 1-2 Tbsp. cornstarch, heaping
- salt & pepper
- garlic salt
ORANGE FROSTY

- 2 C. orange juice
- 1 envelopes whipped topping
- 2 C. ice, crushed
