MASHED POTATOES

Pare thinly new or white potatoes
- 2lbs.2 lbs. potatoes (about 6 medium)
- 1/3-1/2C.1/3-1/2 C. milk, warmed
- 1/4C.1/4 C. butter

French Toast

Soak bread (french bread),till saturated
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup flour
- 1 1/2 1 1/2 1/2 Tsp. sugar
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 2 2 cups milk
- 6 6 6 eggs
GAZPACHO

Chop drained tomatoes into small pieces
- 14 1/2 14 1/2 14 1/2 oz. can whole peeled tomatoes, drained
- 2- 12 2- 12 2- 12 oz. cans tomato juice
- 2 2 2 celery stalks, finely chopped
- 1 1 1 samll onion, finely chopped
- 1 1 1 parsely sprig, chopped
- 1 1 1 medium cucumber, finely chopped
- 1 1 1 green pepper, finely chopped
- 2 2 2 oz. oil
- 2 2 2 oz. wine vinegar
- 1 1 1 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- liquid pepper
- salt and pepper
Rice

Heat rice,water and salt to boiling,stirring once or twice
- For 3 cups cooked rice;
- 1 cup rice 2 cups water 1 tsp.salt
- For 4 cups cooked rice;
- 1 1/3 cup rice 2 2/3 cup water 1 tsp.salt
HAWIAN HAYSTACKS

Combine chicken with soup and cook cook over medium heat
- 2 cans chicken and broth
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- chow mein noodles
- tomatoes
- celery, chopped
- green onions
- cheese
- rice
CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP

Mix broth, pepper, carrot and celery in a saucepan
- 3 1/2 3 1/2 1/2 C. chicken broth
- pepper
- 1 1 1 carrot, sliced
- 1 1 1 celery stalk, sliced
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 C. egg noodles, uncooked
- 1 1 1 C. chicken, cooked and cubed
SHREDDED BBQ BEEF

Place uncooked, seasoned and cut up chicken, ham or pork chops in crock pot
- smoked bbq sauce
- leftover pot roast, shredded
Gravy

Heat meat juice and 2-4 cups water
- Meat juice
- 2-4 cups water
- 1-2 heaping Tbs. cornstarch
- salt & pepper
- garlic salt
- seasoning salt
Lemon jello w/pineapple & cheese

fold into jello and chill
- 1 can crushed pineapple
- put in pan with 1/2 cup sugar,boil 3 min.
- mix 3 oz. lemon jello - dissolve
- Put in frig till almost set
- (better less than over)
- one carton whipping cream (don't add sugar)
- 1 cup grated cheese
- fold into jello and chill.
Lasagne
