THOUSAND ISLAND RELISH

Good on anything
- SAUCE:
- 14 large cucumbers with peel, quartered, seeds removed
- 10 medium onions
- 2 red peppers, seeded
- 2 gree peppers, seeded
- 1/3 cup coarse salt
- 8 cup granulated sugar
- 5 tbsp dry mustard powder
- 2 tbsp ground ginger
- 1 tbsp turmeric
- 1 cup water
- 4 cups white vinegar
- 1/3 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
WHOOPIE PIES

- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 cup white sugar
- cream together
- Add 2 egg yolks
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 2 tbsp butter
- Add enough boiling water to make a paste.
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- Drop by tsp on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 mins.
NO FUSS STUFFING

- 1/2 tsp celery salat
- 1/4 tsp pepper

- 4 lbs chicken drumettes (or whole wings)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp chicken bouillon powder
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
