- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 lemon, grated peel and juise
- 1/4 cup hard margarine (or butter)
MARINATED RIB EYES

In a bowl, combine the first nine ingredients
- 1/3 cup hot water
- 3 tbsp finely chopped onion
- 2 tbsp cider or red wine vinegar
- 2 tbsp olive or vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp beef bouillon granules
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp coarsely ground pepper
- 2 beef rib eye steaks (about 1 inch thick)

- Add:
- Fill large pot to 3/4 of its size
- 3 bay leaves
- 1 onion quartered
- 2 lemon wedges
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp peppercorns
- Bring to boil
- Add:
- 6 potatoes halved
- 4 corn halved (fresh)
- 6 oz x 1/2 inch kiebasa (cut in pieces)
- Return to boil.
