FAMOUS CHEESE DIP

Got this recipe from Robin Remizowski, she got it from her friend Brenda
- 1 tub Imperial Sharp Cheese (softened)
- 1 - 16 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 2 tbsp sour cream
- 1 tsp onion flakes
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- dash worchestire
- crushed garlic
- 2 green onions chopped small
Fish Fritters with Classic Tartar Sauce

Got this recipe from CJ Catz - a foodie from Regina
- FRITTERS:
- 1 lb firm white fish (I used Halibut)
- 1/2 cup corn kernels
- 3 finely sliced green onions
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup water
- canola oil for deep frying
- TARTAR SAUCE:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp dijon mustard
- 1-2 tbsp green relish
LEMON BUTTERMILK PUDDING CAKE

- 1 medium onion
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 can mushroom stems and pieces
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 1/4 lb shredded cheddar
- 1/8 tsp tobasco sauce
- 2 tsp soy
- salt
- pepper
- 1 pkg frozen French Style green beans - cooked and drained well
- 1 can French Fried onion rings
CHOCOLATE BROWNIE COOKIES

- 1 1/3 cups butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 2/3 cup cocoa
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp milk
- 1 1/3 cups nuts (optional)
- 1 cup chocolate chips
DEATH TO DIETERS CHICKEN LASAGNA

Got this recipe from my mother who was raving about it
- SAUCE:
- 2 Pkgs of Hollandaise Sauce Mix (made to directions)",
- 3 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp of peppper
- REMAINDER OF INGREDIENTS:
- 3 cups of sliced mushrooms
- 2 cups chopped onions
- 8 cooked lasagna noodles
- 2 lbs boneless chicken breasts, sliced thin and cooked
- salt and pepper
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 4 cups of shredded mozzarella
- 1 cup grated parmesan
- 1 lb fresh asparagus - cooked till soft and cut into small pieces

- 1 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup grated mozza cheese
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 tbsp VE Bruschetta Mix
- 1 - 14 oz diced tomatoes
ROUGHRIDER CAKE

This is a pistachio dessert - everyone from Saskatchewan calls it Roughrider Cake - green and white - get it?
- BOTTOM:
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tbsp icing sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cups crushed almonds or pecans
- SECOND LAYER:
- 1 - 8 oz package of cream cheese
- 2/3 cup icing sugar
- 1 litre of cool whip (using 1/2 for this layer)
- THIRD LAYER:
- 2 pkgs of pistachio instant pudding mix
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- TOP LAYER:
- Remainder of cool whip
- Slivered almonds or flaked almonds
