Turkey a la King

In a large skillet over medium low heat, cook butter until golden brown
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chopped cooked turkey
- 1/3 cup frozen peas, thawed
- salt and pepper to taste
Smoky Grilled Pork Chops

Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat, and lightly oil the grate
- 1 tablespoon seasoned salt (such as LAWRY'S®)
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon ground paprika
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon liquid smoke flavoring
- 4 bone-in pork chops (1/2 to 3/4 inch thick)
Ancho Pork and Hominy Soup

In a large bowl, combine the ancho chile powder, oregano, paprika, cumin, and salt
- 2 1/2 T. ancho chile powder
- 2 1/2 t. dried oregano
- 2 t. smoked paprika
- 1 1/2 t. ground cumin
- 1 t. kosher salt
- 2 lbs. pork tenderloin cut into 3/4 inch pieces
- 3 T. olive oil, divided
- 1 large yellow onion, finely chopped
- 2 small green bell peppers, cored, seeded, and finely chopped
- 4-5 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 qts. chicken broth
- three 15 oz. cans white hominy, drained
- 1 28 oz. can diced tomaoes, with juice
- 1 16 oz. bag frozen sweet corn

Super Seven Spinach Salad

In a large salad bowl, combine the spinach, Cheddar cheese, apple, red onion, cranberries and slivered almonds
- 1 (6 ounce) package baby spinach leaves
- 1/3 cup cubed Cheddar cheese
- 1 Fuji apple - peeled, cored and diced
- 1/3 cup finely chopped red onion
- 1/4 cup sweetened dried cranberries
- 1/3 cup blanched slivered almonds
- 3 tablespoons poppy seed salad dressing
Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato Bucatini

Bring pot of salted water to a boil for the pasta
- 2 strips bacon, diced
- 1 c. halved grape tomatoes
- 1/2 t. sugar
- 1/2 c. thinly sliced leeks
- 1/4 c. dry white wine
- 1/2 c. chicken broth
- 1 t. red wine vinegar
- 1/4 t. red pepper flakes
- 4 oz. dry bucatini or spaghetti
- 1 c. fresh spinach leaves
- 1/4 t. minced fresh thyme
- Garlic Bread Crumbs
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 c. Italian bread cubes
- 1 t. olive oil
- salt to taste
