Cornbread Mexican Cassarole

Ingredients
- 2 boxes Jiffy cornbread mix
- 1 can creamed corn
- 2 chopped jalapenos
- 6 oz. Mexican shredded cheese
- 1 1/2 lbs hamburger
- 1 small onion
- 1 can Ro Tel tomatoes
- 1 tsp. garlic minced
- 1 T. meneudo mix
- 1 tsp. cumin

Preparation
Step 1
Mix 1 cornbread mix according to instructions and add 1/2 can corn. Pour into 9 X 13 greased baking dish.
Saute hamburger, onion and garlic.
After browning, add tomatoes.
Pour hamburger mixture over cornbread. Top with cheese. Mix 2nd box of cornbread as directed and add the 1/2 can of corn. Pour over meat mixture.
Top with cheese and jalapenos. Bake at 375 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until cornbread is done.
Note: Instead of jalapenos, use green chilies if you don't want it so hot.
