Egg Salad

Peel and chop the hard-boiled eggs
- 4 c peeled and chopped hard-boiled eggs
- 1/2 c crumbled cooked bacon
- 1 tbs chopped parsley
- 1/4 c grated carrots
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1/4 c sour cream
- 1/2 c mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- salt to taste
- freshly ground black pepper to taste
Bow-Tie Pasta with Broccoli and Potatoes

1. Bring a large pot of salted butter to a boil
- Kosher salt
- 2 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 large bunch broccoli, florets and some chopped stems
- 12 ounces bow-tie pasta
- 4 Tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 leeks, white and light green parts only, sliced into half-moons
- freshly ground pepper
- 1 head Boston lettuce, torn
- 1 1/2 cups grated fontina cheese (about 4 ounces)
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese (about 1 ounce), plus more for topping

1. Make crust: In a food processor, pulse flour and sugar until combined
- for the crust:
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for rolling
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar

- 3 to 5 Tablespoons ice water
