Combine all fruit and nuts
- 1 1/2 cups unblanched almonds(12 oz)
- 1 1/2 cups pecan pieces(8 oz)
- 1 cup quartered dates
- 1 cup halved glace cherries
- 1 cup candied orange peel(or mixed peel)
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 3/4 cup flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 Tbsp marachino cherry juice
- 1 tsp almond extract
French Onion Soup

Sauté onions in butter until pale gold
- 8 medium onions, sliced
- 3/4 cup butter
- 10 cups brown stock (7 beef & 3 chicken bouillon cubes, dissolved in 10 cups boiling water)
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 Tbsp sherry (optional)
- toasted rounds of bread
- grated or sliced mozzarella cheese

Base: In a medium bowl beat margarine and icing sugar with an electric mixer until fluffy

- 1/2 cup icing sugar
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 1/4 tsp baking powder

- 4 eggs
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/3 cup juice
- 2 Tbsp grated lemon peel
CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER NO BAKE DESSERT

- 2 1/2 cups chocolate crumbs
- 4 tbsp. butter, melted
- 2 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 2 carton (16 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed, divided
- 30 miniature peanut butter cups, chopped
- 2 cups cold milk
- 2 packages (4 servings, each) instant chocolate pudding mix
Chocolate chip cake

Heat oil and unsweetened chocolate in a 9" pan in 375°F oven for 4 min, until melted
- 1/4 cup oil
- 2 squares unsweetened chocolate
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/3 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1-300 g pkg chocolate chips, divided
- 1/3 cup chopped nuts
Bacardi Rum Cake

Preheat oven to 325°F. Grease and flour a 10" tube pan or 12 cup bundt pan
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 - 520 g pkg yellow cake mix*
- 1 - 99 g pkg vanilla instant pudding
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 cup amber rum
- Glaze
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup amber rum
- If using cake mix with pudding already in the mix, omit pudding, use 3 eggs instead of 4 and 1/3 cup oil instead of 1/2 cup
Elizabeth's Tangy Macaroni Salad

Boil macaroni for 7 min. Meanwhile combine all other ingredients in large bowl
- 2 cups macaroni
- 1 cup Miracle Whip
- 1/3 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1/3 cup chopped green pepper
- 1/4 cup green relish
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1 tsp sweet basil
- 1/2 tsp lemon pepper
- 1 chopped hard-boiled egg

Melt margarine and cocoa. Add to the rest of the ingredients except chocolate chips
- 6 Tbsp margarine or butter
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup nuts, if desired
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Orange Chicken
