Cherry Cheesecake Brownies

To prepare the cheesecake centre Cream together the sugar, vanilla and cream cheese
- For the cheesecake centre
- 1 cup cream cheese (80z, 250g)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 tbsp flour
- 1 1/2 cups chopped glacé cherries
- For the brownie batter
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips
Beef and Corn Casserole

Brown ground beef, drain. Stir in the remaining filling ingredients and set aside
- Filling
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 12 oz canned corn
- 1 8oz can tomato sauce
- Crust
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 cup shredded cheese, divided
Mulled Apple Juice

Mix all together and simmer about an hour
- 2 cups orange juice
- 8 cups apple juice
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp cloves
- 10-12 whole cloves
Chocolate Peanut Squares (from Terry)

Crust: Combine first 4 ingredients and make a well in the center
- Crust:
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 3/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 3 cups miniature marshmallows
- Topping:
- 1 1/3 cups chocolate chips
- 2/3 cup corn syrup
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 2 cups crisp rice cereal
- 1 cup dry roasted peanuts, coarsely chopped
Chicken Pot Pie

Cook potatoes, carrots, celery and onions until done
- 6 potatoes, diced
- 6 carrots, sliced
- 3 stalks celery, chopped
- 1-2 onions, chopped
- 2 cups cooked, diced chicken
- 1 can cream of chicken or celery soup
- 1 tsp summer savory
- 1 can of peas
- 1/2 tsp pepper
Peter's Chili

Brown beef, drain. Add chopped onion, garlic, banana peppers and celery
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 large onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 3 hot banana peppers
- 3 stalks celery
- 2-19 oz cans tomatoes
- 2-14 oz cans kidney beans
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper
- 5 oz can tomato paste
- 1 cup tomato juice
- 1/4 cup chili powder
Peanut Butter Tart Squares (from Terry)

Beat butter, peanut butter and sugar until creamy
- Topping:
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup corn starch
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 2 Tbsp corn starch
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- pinch salt
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup chopped unsalted, roasted peanuts
- 1/2 cup peanut butter chips
- 1/2 cup miniature chocolate chips
Sticky Bun Coffee Cake

Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease a 9" round cake pan with sides at least 2" high (not a springform)
- Topping:
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/3 cup corn syrup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- Streusel:
- 1/4 cup each: sugar and brown sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 Tbsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, chilled, cut into pieces
- Cake:
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2/3 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs

- 1/2 cup kirsch (cherry brandy)

- 1/2 cup icing sugar
- 1 square semisweet chocolate, grated
- 12 cherries for garnish
- 2 squares semisweet chocolate made into curls
- 2 cups cake flour
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup cocoa
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 3/4 cup shortening
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
