Sesame Ginger Dressing

In a bowl whisk together ginger, garlic, mustard, vinegar, pepper, salt and sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp minced ginger
- 1 small garlic clove, minced
- 1 tbsp smooth Dijon mustard
- 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 tsp fresh ground Sichuan or black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 cup dark sesame oil
- 1/2 cup canola or corn oil
- 1/2 tsp to 1 tsp chilli paste (optional)
UNSTUFFED CABBAGE CASSEROLE

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/2 lb ground pork
- 1 onion , diced
- 3 cloves garlic , minced
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 can tomato soup
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 28 oz . canned diced tomatoes with liquid
- 1 teaspoon dried dill
- 3 tablespoons fresh parsley
- 1 bay leaf
- salt & pepper to taste
- 2 1/2 cups cooked rice (brown or white)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 head of cabbage chopped (approx. 8 cups)

- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1 inch cubes
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup pineapple juice
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 Tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 Tablespoon water
- 1 red bell pepper, cut into 1 inch cubes
- 1 yellow red bell pepper, cut into 1 inch cubes
- 1 green bell pepper, cut into 1 inch cubes
- 1 red onion, cut into 1 inch cubes
- 2 cups fresh pineapple cut into 1 inch cubes

Oatmeal Cake

After oatmeal has set add above ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup boiling water
- 1 cup quick cooking rolled oats
- Combine and let stand 10 minutes
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup oil
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
Apple - Hasselback

Bake at 400F for 20 minutes
- Serves 1 apple, per person.
- Halve and core an apple of your choice. Honeycrisp and Grannysmith are both great options for baking.
- Make vertical slices in each apple 1 cm thick, stopping 2 cms from the bottom of each apple half.
- Baste with a mixture of 1 TBSP melted butter, 1 TBSP brown sugar, and 1/2 TSP cinnamon.
