Just Desserts Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookies (Erika's)

The version that Sylvia Weinstock, guest judge, asked to have the recipe for
- 1/2 lb. salted butter, cool room temperature
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract (I used my homemade vanilla)
- 1/4 tsp. sea salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 2-1/2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour (about 10.8 oz.)
- 1-1/2 cups chocolate chips (I used half Ghiradelli bittersweet/half Harris Teeter semi-sweet)
- 1 cup walnuts, toasted and broken
Basil Lemon Drizzle (Skinny Italian)

- 1/2 garlic clove
- 1 cup packed fresh basil leaves
- 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Directions Line a baking sheet with foil and butter the foil
- 2 sticks unsalted butter, plus more for the baking sheet
- 5 cups thick-cut potato chips
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar or white vinegar
- 5 ounces bittersweet or semisweet chocolate, finely chopped

- 8 short ribs (12 ounces each), trimmed and tied by a butcher
- 8 shallots
- 11 cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 6 ounces pancetta, diced
- 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons cognac or brandy
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups red wine
- 1/4 ounce dried porcini mushrooms
- 4 sprigs fresh thyme
- 2 bay leaves
- Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 10 ounces oyster mushrooms, trimmed
- 10 ounces cremini mushrooms, trimmed and halved

1. Rinse porcini thoroughly
- 1/2 cup dried porcini mushrooms (about 1/2 ounce)
- 2/3 cup boiling water
- 8 ounces uncooked bucatini
- 3 1/2 teaspoons salt, divided
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 cup finely chopped shallots
- 2 (4-ounce) packages exotic mushroom blend, coarsely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons dry sherry
- 2 ounces Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, divided
