FRIED MUSHROOMS

Mix flour, cornstarch, baking powder and salt in a bowl
- 10 oz. fresh white mushrooms, wiped clean
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 3/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 sp. salt
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups breadcrumbs (panko )
Chocolate Gooey Butter Cookies

In a large bowl with an electric mixer, cream the cream cheese and butter until smooth
- 1 (8 oz.) brick cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 stick butter, at room temperature
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 ( 18 oz.) box moist chocolate cake mix
- Confectioners' sugar, for dusting
Lemon Butter for Fish

Combine all ingredients. Pour over cooked steaks and garnish with lemon wedges
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp. paprika
- 1 tbsp. finely chopped fresh parsley
Pumpkin Date Cake with Eggnog Sauce

Preheat oven to 300 degrees
- Eggnog Sauce:
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
- 3 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. allspice (alittle less)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 cups canned pumpkin
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup pitted, chopped dates
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Sub. something for 3/4 oz bourbon
- I used vanilla extract probably need something else
Simple Cream Cheese Stuffed Dates

1. Pit the dates. Stuff dates with 1 tsp
- 12 dried dates
- 4 tbsp. cream cheese
- 2 tsp. paprika
Apple Dumplings

Roll pastry slightly less than 1/8 in
- Syrup:
- Pastry for 2-crust pie
- 6 apples, peeled and cored
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. each cinnamon, nutmeg
- 2 tbsp. butter
- Peach Dumplings:
- Use 3 large peaches, peeled and pitted, in place of 6 apples. Put peach half on center of each pastry square and proceed as for apple dumplings above.
Cauliflower and Bacon Salad

Tear enough lettuce to fill a regular-size salad bowl
- Lettuce, About 1 Head
- Cauliflower, 1/2 a small head
- 10 oz. pkg. frozen peas, no need to thaw
- Bacon bits
- Seven Seas dry Italian dressing in envelope
- Mayonnaise
Chili's Lettuce Wraps

1. Stirfry sauce: combine water and cornstarch and stir until cornstarch is dissolved
- 1 tbsp. oil
- 4 chicken breasts
- 3 green onions
- 1/4 cup minced water chestnuts
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- 4-6 lettuce leaves
- Stir Fry Sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tsp. cornstarch
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1 tbsp. oil
- 2 tsp. sesame seeds
- 1 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp. chili oil
- 1/2 tsp. minced ginger
- Sesame Ginger Dipping Sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 3/4 tsp. cornstarch
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tsp. minced ginger
- 1 tsp. oil
- 1/2 tsp. sesame seed
- 1/4 tsp minced garlic
- 1 dash red pepper flakes
- 1 dash parsley
- Peanut Dipping Sauce
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/3 cup water
- 2 tbsp. vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. minced ginger
- 1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp. minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp. chili oil
- 1/2 tsp. oil
- 1 tbsp. brown sugar
Asian Beef and Vegetable Pasta

1. Heat butter in a large, deep skillet over medium heat
- 1 tsp. butter
- 1/8 tsp. red pepper
- 3 large cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 lbs flank steak, cut into thin strips
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 4 stalks celery chopped
- 1 small head green cabbage, chopped
- 12 oz spaghetti, cooked, drained
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
Macaroni Salad

Combine macaroni, celery, scallions, green pepper, red pepper, olives, and parsley in a large bowl; toss to mix
- 4 cups cooked macaroni
- 1 cup sliced celery
- 1/2 cup sliced scallions
- 4 tbsp. coarsely chopped green pepper
- 2 tbsp. chopped red pepper
- 2 tbsp. pitted, chopped black olives
- 2 tbsp. finely chopped parsley
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp. vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
