Simple Bunuelos

Mix sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg in a paper bag
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tsp. powdered cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- Oil for frying
- 12 flour tortillas, cut into 2-3 inch strips
Flounder with Cilantro/Lime Tartar Sauce

Mix mayonnaise, mustard, lime juice, onion, cilantro, capers, garlic, cayenne pepper and salt in a small bowl
- 4 Flounder fillets--prepare according to package
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp. mustard
- 2 tbsp. lime juice
- 2 tbsp. red onion--finely chopped
- 1 1/2 tbsp. fresh cilantro--chopped
- 1 tbsp. capers--chopped
- 1 garlic clove--finely minced
- Pinch each cayenne pepper, salt
Oven Fried Fish

Move oven rack to position slightly above middle of oven Heat oven to 500
- Lean fish:
- 1 lb. lean fish fillets
- 1/4 cup cornmeal
- 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. chopped fresh or 1/4 tsp. dried dill weed
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 cup milk
- 3 tbsp. butter
- halibut, grouper, cod, flounder, sole, perch (ocean)
Shrimp Curry

Melt butter and saute' onion; blend in flour
- Condiments:
- 5 lbs. cooked shrimp, small ones are better
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 1/4 cups minced onions
- 1 cup less 1 tbsp. flour
- 8 tsp. curry powder
- 3 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp powdered ginger
- 1 1/4 tsp sugar
- 3 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 5 cups milk
- Garlic
- Worcestershire sauce
- Tabasco sauce
- Salted peanuts, chopped
- Pineapple chunks
- Chutney
- Avocado slices
- Grated fresh coconut
Dump Cake

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- May prepare ahead
- 1 22 oz. can cherry pie filling
- 1 16 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 18 1/4 oz. package yellow cake mix
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- whipped cream or vanilla ice cream, optional
Sun Dried Tomato Dipping Oil (Bravo)

Heat oil in sauce pot. Add herbs and heat for 3 minutes
- 1 qt. Olive Oil
- 16 oz. can Tomato Paste
- 1/4 cup Rosemary
- 1/4 cup Thyme
- 1/4 cup Basil
- 5 oz. Sun Dried Tomato
- 1/4 cup Garlic Powder
- 1/4 cup Parsley
- 2 tbsp. Salt & Pepper
Garlic Cheese Biscuits

1. Preheat the oven to 400
- 1 1/4 cups bisquick baking mix
- 1/2 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, melted
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. dried parsley flakes
Noodles Romanoff

Cook the noodles as directed on package
- 8 oz. wide egg noodles
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp. snipped chives
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 large clove garlic, crushed
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1/4 cup more Parmesan cheese
Frozen Salad

Mix all together to pour into muffin tins or 1 qt
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1 large can crushed pineapple
- 1 4 oz. bottle maraschino cherries with juice
- 2 slice bananas
- 1 cup grapes
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup pecans ( optional)
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice (optional)

- 2/3 cup bottled creamy ranch dressing
- 1 tbsp. cider vinegar
- 1 lg.jalapeno chile, seeded, chopped
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 8 oz. (1 3/4 cups) elbow macaroni, cooked according to package directions, rinses with cold water to stop cooking, drained
- 1/2 cup each diced red bell pepper and celery
- 1/4 cup sliced scallions
- 1/2 tsp each salt & pepper
