Turkey Ham and Corn Chowder

In 3-quart saucepan, over medium-high heat, saute onions in hot oil for 3 minutes or until translucent
- 1 cup onion chopped
- 1 Tbs vegetable oil
- 3 Tbs flour
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 quart skim milk
- 2 cups frozen hash brown potatoes
- 2 Cans (11 ounces each) corn with red and green peppers drained
- 3/4 lb turkey ham cut into 1/2-inch cubes
Honey Mint Glazed Lamb

Combine honey, wine and mint; mix well
- 1 cup honey
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 4 Tbs minced fresh mint
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- 1 lbs boneless leg of lamb, (2 whole legs)
Apricot Nut Bread

- 3/4 cup dried apricots
- 1 ½ cup flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 Tbs grated orange peel
- 1 Tbs vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
Honey Mulled Cider

Cut two slices (1/4-inch thick) from each lemon and orange half
- 1 large lemon, cut in half
- 1 medium orange, cut in half
- 16 whole cloves
- 4 cups apple juice
- 1/2 cup honey
- 4 (2-inch.) cinnamon sticks

Bacon Cheddar Chive Muffins

Place bacon in a large, deep skillet
- 6 thick slices bacon
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 Tbs white sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 4 tsp dried chives
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
Honey Nut Turkey Ham Roll-Ups

With a dinner knife or kitchen spreader, divide container of cream cheese into 8 equal wedges
- 1 8-ounce container honey nut flavored cream cheese
- 8 8-inch no-fat flour tortillas
- 1 lb shaved deli turkey ham
- 8 large leaves red or green leaf lettuce washed, dried and center vein removed

Baked Apple Pancake

Heat oven to 425 degrees. Lightly oil a 10-inch cast-iron skillet
- 2 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup milk
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- 1/4 cup ( 1/2 stick) unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
Honey Sweet 'n Sour Wings

Combine honey, peppers, vinegar, pineapple juice and seasonings in small saucepan; mix well
- 3/4 cup honey
- 3/4 cup diced red sweet peppers
- 1/3 cup rice wine vinegar
- 1/3 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp bottled hot pepper sauce
- 1 1/2 lbs fried or baked chicken wings
Banana Bread

Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt
- 1 3/4 cup flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup shortening
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1 1/2 cups well mashed, overripe banana (2 or 3 bananas)
- 1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts (optional)
