- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup sliced radishes
- 1/2 cup whole fresh mint leaves
- 3/4 cup golden raisins
- 6 cherry tomatoes, quartered
- 1/4 cup chopped green onion
- 1/3 cup raw almonds
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
- 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
Classic Meatloaf

In a large bowl, combine beef, onion, thyme, 1/2 cup ketchup, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1/2 medium onion, grated
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 3/4 cup ketchup, divided
- 1/2 cup dried breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Banana Tarte Tatin*

- 4 egg whites
- one 16-ounce box golden pound cake mix
- 2/3 cup water
- Filling
- 2 teaspoons very hot water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups marshmallow creme (one 7-ounce jar)
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla (See Tidbits)
Homemade Cannoli*
