Mother's Day Baked French Toast

Please brown sugar, butter & corn syrup in a medium saucepan
- 1 c firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
- 2 tlbs light corn syrup
- 10 slices French bread, about 1 inch thick
- 2 c milk
- 4 large eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Confectioners' sugar
- Sweetened strawberries (See Tip)
Hash Brown Quiche

- 3 cups frozen shredded hash brown potatoes, thawed
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 cup chopped cooked ham
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

- 10 RITZ Crackers, crushed (about 1/3 cup)

- 6 cups romaine lettuce - washed and cut
- 1/2 cup toasted pecans, roughtly chopped (toast in oven @ 350 for 3-5 minutes
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 1 tart apple
- 1/4 cup sliced red onion
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup seasoned rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- Dash of pepper
- 1 tlbs parsley flakes
