Not Yo' Mama's Banana Pudding

Line the bottom of a 13 by 9 by 2-inch dish with 1 bag of cookies and layer bananas on top
- 2 bags Pepperidge Farm Chessmen cookies
- 6 to 8 bananas, sliced
- 2 cups milk
- 1 (5-ounce) box instant French vanilla pudding
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 (12-ounce) container frozen whipped topping thawed, or equal amount sweetened whipped cream
Lemonade Frozen Pie

For the filling: In a large bowl, add the sweetened condensed milk and whipped topping
- Graham cracker crust
- 1 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk, chilled
- 1 6 oz. can lemonade concentrate, DO NOT THAW
- 1 12 oz. container Cool Whip, thawed
Baked Pineapple

Melt butter in pan. Brown cubed bread in melted butter
- 1 stick butter
- 5 slices white bread, cubed
- 1 15 oz. can crushsed pineapple
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 TBS flour
Banana Nut Bread

Cream sugar and cream cheese in bowl until fluffy
- 1 c sugar
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 2 medium-size ripe bananas (I use 3)
- 2 eggs
- 2 c baking mix (I use Bisquick's Heart Smart mix)
- 1 tsp vanilla ( I use 2 tsp)
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (I use walnuts...probably a cup)
Chicken Cassiatore (Pressure Cooker)

Brown chicken pieces in the pressure cooker, adding a little oil if necessary
- •3 Pounds Chicken parts
- •1 Pound Zucchini sliced
- •1 Teaspoon Black pepper
- •2 Teaspoons Oregano
- •2 Bay leaves
- •2 cans (15 ounces each) stewed tomatoes
- •1 Large Onion, coarsely chopped
- •1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- •1 Teaspoon Crushed red pepper
- •1/4 cup minced fresh parsley
- •1 Pound Bell pepper, coarsely chopped
- •2 Cloves garlic, minced
- •2 Cups White wine
Shrimp and Grits

Cook grits according to package directions; set aside and keep warm
- 4 servings cooked grits
- •2 tablespoons olive oil
- •4 diced andouille sausage links
- •1 diced leeks
- •1 diced onion
- 1 diced red peppers
- •1 lb medium to large shrimp, peeled and de-veined,
- •1 to 2 tablespoons white wine
- •1 cup heavy cream
- •Salt and pepper
- •Green onion tops, chopped
Banana Split Cake

Mix one stick butter with graham cracker crumbs
- 2 sticks butter, softened
- 3 - 5 bananas, sliced
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 20 oz. can crushed pineapple
- 1 carton Cool Whip
- sliced strawberries
- chopped pecans
Sticky Buns

Grease a tube pan. Mix together brown sugar and cinnamon
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 TBS cinnamon
- 1/2 cups chopped pecans
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 2 cans buttermilk biscuits
- honey
Chicken Tetrazzini

1.Preheat oven to 400. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil (for pasta)
- Coarse salt and ground pepper
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1 pound white mushrooms, trimmed and sliced inch thick
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 cups milk
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) reduced-sodium chicken broth
- 3/4 cup dry white wine
- 3 cups grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
- 1 pound linguine, broken in half
- 1 rotisserie chicken, skin removed, meat shredded (about 4 cups)
- 1 package (10 ounces) frozen peas, thawed and drained
Black Bean Soup for Slow Cooker

Combine all ingredients in slow cooker
- 1 bag (16 oz.) BLACK BEANS, soaked overnight and drained
- 3 14 oz. cans (or one 32 oz. container) CHICKEN BROTH
- 1 LARGE ONION, chopped
- 1 LARGE HAM HOCK
- 2 tsp RED WINE VINEGAR
- 1 LARGE RED PEPPER, chopped
- 2 TBS garlic, minced
- 1 TBS CUMIN
- 1 tsp CHILI POWDER
- SALT and PEPPER, to taste
