Mom's Belgium Waffles

Mix egg yolks, milk, flour, baking powder, vanilla, salt, and oil
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 cups flour
- 1 T baking powder
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup oil
- 2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
Overnight Baked French Toast

Combine all ingredients, except bread
- 1 cup heavy cream, 1/2 and 1/2, or whole milk
- 6 large eggs
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 T packed light brown sugar
- 1 T vanilla
- 1/4 tsp salt
- trim crusts from 8 slices white/egg bread

Beef Stew

Preheat oven to 350 Heat 2 Tbl
- 4 T. olive oil
- 2 lbs. onions, sliced
- 1 T. sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 lbs beef stew meat or beef round cut into 1 1/2" cubes
- 1 1/4 cups beer
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 3/4 cup water
- 6 carrots, peeled
- 2 potatoes, peeled
Quick No Knead Rolls

Dissolve yeast in 1 cup warm water
- 1 pkg yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 T sugar
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 eggs

Super Quick Sticky Rolls

German Chocolate Mousse

1. Combine first 3 ingredients in a heavy saucepan; let stand 2 minutes
- 1 1/3 cups 1% low-fat milk
- 2 tsp. unflavored gelatin
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 8 ounces dark chocolate chips
- 4 cups frozen light whipped topping, thawed
- 1/4 cup flaked sweetened coconut, toasted
Yogurt Waffles

Combine dry ingredients in medium bowl
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup and 2 T plain nonfat yogurt
- 1 egg
- 2 T margarine melted
Blackened Chicken Salad

1. Combine, cover, and chill salad ingredients
- Salad:
- 3 large tomatoes, chopped
- 1 yellow pepper, chopped
- 1/4 cup purple onion, chopped
- 1 T sugar
- 3 T cidar vinegar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- Dressing:
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup dijon mustard
- 3 T water
- 1 T honey
- Spicy seasoning:
- 2 1/2 T paprika
- 2 T garlic powder
- 1 T salt
- 1 T ground red pepper
- 1 T ground black pepper
- 4 (4 oz) skinned and boned chicken breast halves
