Rhubarb with Earl Grey Tea, Cardamom, and Orange Zest

Make sure to let the tea steep for a full 3 minutes so it really infuses
- 3 cups roughly chopped (1-inch pieces) rhubarb, from about 6 long thin ribs (just under 1 lb)
- 3 cups roughly chopped (1-inch pieces) Braeburn apple, from 2 peeled apples
- Juice of 1 small Meyer lemon
- 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons pure cane sugar
- Seeds of one green cardamom pod crushed well with mortar and pestle
- 2 bags of Earl Grey tea steeped in 3/4 cup just-boiled water for 3 minutes and then cooled
- Zest of 2 Valencia oranges
- Vanilla ice cream (!)
Chocolate Silk Pie

cream together well sugar and butter, add chocolate and vanilla
- 3/4 Cup Butter
- 1 Cup sugar
- 3 squares unsweeten chocolate melted and cool
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

- 2 C carrots slices
- 2 C water
- 1 1/2 C chpd cooked chicken
- 1 10 3/4 oz can condensed chicken broth
- 1 10oz pkg frozen broccoli
- 1/2 C chpd onion
- 1 1/2 C 6oz cubed swiss cheese
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 C ground oat flour
- 2 C milk

- 1/2 Cup Light Corn Syrup
- 1/2 Cup Honey
