  • 2 large egg whites

  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup plain dry breadcrumbs
  • 2 pounds meatloaf mix (ground beef, pork and veal)
  • 1 1/4 cups shredded Cheddar (about 5 ounces)
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 4 small green onions, finely chopped ( about 1/3 cup)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large egg

check meats with a thermometer

  • Chicken temperature- 165 degrees
  • Turkey temperature-insert thermometer into the thickest part of thigh. It is ready when it hits 155 to 160 F.
  • Beef- medium rare- 135 to 140 degrees
  • medium- 145 to 155 degrees
  • Boneless pork chops 145 degrees for medium rare to 160 degrees for medium.

  • 2- 1 lb. pork tenderloins
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 T. olive oil
  • 1/2 cup apple juice
  • 3 T. honey
  • 2 tsp. fresh ginger root, grated
  • 3 carrotts, cut into 1/4 inch slices
  • 1 large or 2 small apples, cored and cut into 1/4 inch slices.(make sure to use a hard apple,ie granny smith or it will turn to mush)
