Honey-Mustard Pork Chops Recipe

In a small bowl, combine the first eight ingredients
- 1/3 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sherry or reduced-sodium chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 6 boneless pork loin chops (3/4 inch thick and 6 ounces each)
Beef & Spinach Lo Mein Recipe

1. In a small bowl, mix the first six ingredients
- 1/4cup1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 2tablespoons2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1tablespoon1 tablespoon water
- 2teaspoons2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 22 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4teaspoon1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1pound1 pound beef top round steak, thinly sliced
- 6ounces6 ounces uncooked spaghetti
- 4teaspoons4 teaspoons canola oil, divided
- 1can1 can (8 ounces) sliced water chestnuts, drained
- 22 green onions, sliced
- 1package1 package (10 ounces) fresh spinach, coarsely chopped
- 11 red chili pepper, seeded and thinly sliced
- 11. In a small bowl, mix the first six ingredients. Remove 1/4 cup mixture to a large bowl; add beef and toss to coat. Marinate at room temperature 10 minutes.
- 33. Stir-fry water chestnuts and green onions in remaining canola oil 30 seconds. Stir in spinach and remaining hoisin mixture; cook until spinach is wilted. Return beef to pan; heat through.
- 44. Drain spaghetti; add to beef mixture and toss to combine. Sprinkle with chili pepper. Yield: 5 servings.
Sweet and Sour Pork

First tried 1/9/2013. Excellent, sauce has great flavor
- 1 pound pork tenderloin, cut into 1/2 -inch pieces
- 2-1/2 T balsamic vinegar
- Kosher salt
- 2 tsp. low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 T. cornstarch
- 3 T. ketchup
- 3 T. sugar, plus a pinch
- 3 T. peanut or vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 carrots, thinly sliced
- 3 scallions, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
- 3 cups snow peas, cut in half
Oven Chowder

This chowder recipe is easy, with delicious results
- 1-1/2 pounds skinless, boneless haddock or cod-cut into large pieces
- 1 large onion, halved and thinly sliced
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, cut into 8 pieces
- 2 tsp. kosher salt or sea salt
- Black pepper to taste
- 4 whole cloves
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 3 medium all-purpose (boiling) potatoes, peeled and cut into 1- inch dice
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 T. chopped fresh dill
- 1 cup heavy cream, heated until hot
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Artichoke and Red Pepper Dip

- 2 (8) ounce packages of cream cheese
- 1 package Hidden Valley Ranch Salad dressing original recipe
- 1 (6) ounce jar marinated artichoke hearts drained and chopped
- 3 T. fresh parsley minced
- 1/3 cup roasted red peppers drained and chopped
Scalloped Potatoes with Ham Recipe

In a large saucepan, melt 4 tablespoons butter
- 6 tablespoons butter, divided
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3 cups 2% milk
- 6 cups thinly sliced peeled potatoes
- 1-1/2 cups chopped fully cooked ham
- 1 small onion, grated
Molasses Spice Crackles

From Mary. Dough needs to be chilled for 2 hours before baking
- 1 1/3 cups flour
- 1 tsp. Baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp. Cloves
- 1/4 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 2 T. Molasses
- 1 egg white
- 1/4 cup sugar for rolling

- 2 T. grated peeled fresh ginger
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 2 T. teriyaki sauce
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
- 2 tsp. canola oil
- 8 ounces snow peas, strings removed
- 1 medium zucchini (8 ounces),cut lengthwise in half and thinly sliced crosswise
